2 years ago, would give a 5 star but the standard has dropped due to littering, excessive bread thrown around for ducks and swans and other birds ; sometimes whole loaves, sometimes mouldy attracting rats and in some cases getting pet dogs sick. Dog litter is not picked up by all owners. Youngsters riding road bikes, electric bikes on the grass doing doughnuts. Gas canisters lying around as well as syringes.

Lovely place for a walk with the little one. People can be careless as they do not use the bins provided which make spots of the park dirty!

It's a lovely big park with narrow rivers on either side... Nice to walk your your dog or stroll with your family or watch Rugby on the weekends. Plentiful parking spaces... Park in the Kingsmead car park as its FOC.
