We know Richard from his previous career in the hospitality trade. When we were organising our second wedding celebration and I saw that Richard had trained as a celebrant, we decided to approach him to do the ceremony. It was a great decision.Richard was amazing throughout. He took the time and care to ask the right questions ( I definitely recommend completing the questionnaire in detail), and he really thought about how we wanted to be represented.When we did the read through both my husband and I both got a little emotional - and that's a big ask for my husband. Richard had taken our contributions and created a beautiful narrative which represented us wonderfully. Richard has a great gift for the English language and a fabulous way with words.On the day he did an awesome job - the perfect mix of being thoughtul, considerate and humourous. He held the space gracefully, especially for one of the guests who was doing a reading, and read the audience well.We couldn't have asked for anymore. Thank you for making our day so special! Richard was the celebrant for our wedding and did a fantastic job. In the run up to the event he was very clear and helpful with us and guided us through the process of developing wedding vows, providing suggestions and ideas with us over the course of several meetings. Richard was truly the best celebrant we could ever have hoped for. He has a gift for the spoken and written word and so many guests came away from our wedding saying that he was the best celebrant they'd ever experienced. Leading up to the wedding Richard was attentive, kind, timely, and really helpful in guiding us towards a ceremony that felt truly 'us'. Richard presided over our wedding in the Cotswolds last Sunday. He provided the most perfect balance of weight, humour, warmth and calm which meant that we weren’t too nervous to enjoy it, and to appreciate the enormity of the event. He worked so hard to accommodate all our thoughts and feelings about marriage and was instructive, personal and always listening. We cannot recommend him enough.

Richard is clear and well spoken with a gift of the English language. He has a great ability to put you at ease with a timely joke or compassionate words where needed to help steady yourself. There is no area of an event that his experience doesn’t cover and is quick to be on hand should help be needed. He has been the backbone of many a celebration I have had the pleasure of attending, including my own wedding.

Richard performed our wedding ceremony and was the most amazing celebrant. From the moment we started the process of enquiring, he was friendly and approachable, which made the whole process really enjoyable. After booking him for our big day we met up a couple of times in person to discuss the process and then go through the script, and throughout Richard put us as ease. He was so helpful to the point he offered to read our vows and speeches - we really appreciated his advice and importantly he made sure we were on the same page! He was reliable throughout and on the day he was so personable even to the point of picking a tie to suit our ceremony! His script was beautiful and we received the most amazing feedback from our guests during the wedding. Many guests asked us if he was related as he seemed to know us so well, a few wanted to know if he was staying for dinner as he seemed so fun and some even asked our permission for potentially booking him for their wedding in the future (to which we replied - of course we don’t mind!). We would absolutely recommend booking Richard!
