Lovely place with lovely staff and nice food. Only issue is a lack of Gluten free options. My wife is coeliac and was limited to a slice of chocolate cake. This is still normal for most eating establishments. More education required.

Great place to stay if you're into fishing or not. Accommodation is spotless and finished to a higher standard than any other I've stayed in. Great for listening to coms from RAF coningsby and watching the planes if that's your thing. The new landmark cafe is great to eat in or take back to your lodge, stunning views too.

The only issue I have found was that there wasn't any handssoap in the bathrooms or the kitchen. When I'm travelling and staying in self catering I think it would be nice to have oil and salt and pepper.Other than that it's really lovely. Hosts are great, the view is nice from the cottages and it's warm and cosy. Most important the beds are comfy! I would stay again!

Fantastic quiet place, we stayed in a great lodge with everything we needed a real home from home and enjoyed our stay, would highly recommend.Recommend that you book the landmark cafe for breakfast.

Stopped off on our way north. Glad we did because it was well worth it. Lovely restaurant/cafe, good food and drink choices and the service was excellent. There is a lovely view from the windows across open countryside.

We spent Christmas in cottage No.1. We were surprised how spacious it was 4 bedroom's, 1 was ensuit. 1 bedroom ground floor, 3 showers, 1 for a disabled person. Very well equipped kitchen and separate dining room. The cottage was spotlessly clean, Lawrence and Rachel were perfect host's.

Called in for a light lunch it being called a cafe. It is a restaurant with tables booked, the only available space was a table by the door. We would have liked a soup and roll but was told they don’t do that at lunch time. Would not go again.
