Wow how rude ….. customer service skills you need to be improved. Not welcoming at all

I think this is the best stamp shop around. Living in Milton Keynes, there is nothing philatelic at all, so its great that half an hour on the train gets me to this little gem! The shop has a cosy, welcoming atmosphere. The owner, Roy, is so knowledgeable, enthusiastic and down to earth, he is a pleasure to speak to. I do hope more people visit in the future. With more and more philatelic business being conducted online, it makes these kind of establishments all the more precious. Long may it continue! Many thanks.

This is the best stamp shop currently around. Roy has a great selection of stamps available, even better than Stanley Gibbons in a lot of areas, and certainly a lot cheaper. His knowledge is phenomenal and you can easily lose yourself for a couple of hours just talking to him. His stamp shop is his collection and you can tell that stamps are a passion for him. I cannot wait till he reopens so I can spend some money; don’t tell the wife. My dad is a coin collector and has bought some great gold coins off him in the past, although I believe he does not deal in gold coins that much anymore. Pay him a visit. There are not many shops around like this anymore.

Excellent service, so many items you feel like when you're child going to grandpa. Definitely will buy again.

Very knowledgeable owner maybe a little intimidating, but for some good advice and some basic bits to help me appreciate my grandads old stamp collection he left me.

Very knowledgeable gentleman. Who was very respectful of a lot of rubbish!! He’s certainly knowledgeable and I would recommend him to anybody thank you for a very enjoyable morning

Desperate for a rare and specific Christmas present I spent 2 hours journeying, getting soaked to the skin through heavy rain just to have him close the door in my face, jam his foot behind it and point at a sign saying closed (2.50 hours early). Wont open the door a crack so I can ask when he'll open again, why he's closed early or if he can just be a decent human being and spend 30 seconds helping someone out.Back to ordering something through an online retailer then. This is why the high street is dying.

arrived with a bags of coins .before I had even taken them out of the bag he said that there were if no value .i asked how can you tell .He reeled off a load I dates to me . He was very rude .as I have no knowledge of coins I asked him not to address me in that manner .i asked him about 3 coins I was interested in the history ofbut he continued to talk down to .this man is very rude and arrogant.i would never recommend this shop
