Goughs Pet Store

This shop was recommended to us and we couldn't fault it.The staff were lovely, they took time to fit our puppy with her new winter coat, giving her a treat to help calm her down.The prices are great too. We will definitely be going back. It's a small shop but crammed full of goodies for lots of different animals.I highly recommend this shop!

Old Fashioned Pet Store in East GrinsteadBest run family business for miles.Nothing is too much trouble and they have a wide range of productsEspecially for wild birds and at really reasonable prices.I'm moving out of the area soon but will still be going back to get my wild bird food.Thanks everyone at Goughs for your excellent service. This type of business is becoming rare! It is family run by lovely people who provide a top-notch service with a fabulous selection of products and foods to keep any pet( and owner) happy!If you're in East Grinstead it's well worth a visit.

A lovely family business. Very customer focused and the BEST bird seed around. I travel 8 miles to buy my pet products here.

A wonderful reminder of how shops and shopping used to be. The small store is packed with numerous products for a general range of domestic animals and the available customer space can sometimes be crowded, testimony to the excellent friendly service provided. Prices are very good and the carry to you car service provided for heavier goods is excellent. Parking outside the store can be difficult but there are a few metered spaces opposite (20p for 20 minutes at the last use). The local traffic warden takes a sensible approach if you are clearly loading a car. It is true that there are no pets to view apart from those that bring their owners in on leads and thankfully no space for parents with buggies wanting a free source of entertainment for their children. The shop simply isn't big enough to sustain non-paying visitors.

This store with its current owners have traded here since some time in the 1980s.Prices of things I've bought have been lower than other physical retail outlets.They know what they're talking about, as you would after so long.It's family run and much like shops that used to be all over but now a minority. It's a little untidy but that's part of its style.You can park (pay) just round the corner at some flats.

Excellent petstore. Ive been buying our Poms treats online for double the price as i didnt know anywhere local stocked them..im so happy to support our local business..the customer service was perfect. And will of cause return to buy all our Poms treats going forward. Dusty loves you her fave shop!

One of last old time shops that has everything and where nothing is too much trouble. Excellent.
