Dalcross Airpark

I split my time between London and the Highlands and keep a car parked at Dalcross Airpark for flexibility of travel. I've nothing but positive things to say - the establishment is tidy and well maintained, it's 5 minutes walk from the terminal building, and with full time CCTV I've never felt my car was not 100% secure. My experience with the owner has also been 100% positive - polite, responsive and pro-active, to the point of even telling me my car was due an MOT, checking with me and then sorting it all out for me, remotely with all of the documents ready for me to collect. Overall well above the service you'd get from Inverness longstay, and at a very fair price.

I see there's largely a chalk and cheese experience here. My own experience was overwhelmingly positive. The business owner welcomed me to park hours ahead of my scheduled arrival time, and did everything he could to make me feel welcome and to feel confident leaving my vehicle there. The car park was secure and only a couple of minutes' walk from the terminal. I'll be happy to park here again.

Based on the experience I have had today, absolutely DO NOT USE this business! Rude, arrogant and most unhelpful person I have ever spoken to! Not in the slightest bit interested in trying to help. Still awaiting a refund that I was told I would receive even though the first part of it came through within 5 minutes. Do yourself a favour and book the airport even though it is likely a few quid cheaper.

I never leave reviews but feel like I need to this time. Please listen to all the people on here leaving negative reviews. After parking my car, I received an abusive, threatening phone call upon arrival at the airport. I still don't know what it was all about. The nicer and more apologetic I was, the more abuse I got. The cowardly owner would not have the courage to speak to people that way in person. It is too easy for someone to be verbally abusive by phone or by hiding behind a computer keyboard. A red sticker was put on my windscreen warning me not to come back. There are certainly no worries there... why would I? I would pay double the cost to leave my car somewhere professional and safe. I don't know how this place is still open. It's an insecure dump and not a safe place to leave your car. The worst customer service I have experienced and 1 star is too much. Avoid at all costs!

Warning! This is not the airport carpark!!!Terrible experience with this 'company'.Booked the carpark online and didn't receive any confirmation that I had paid or that I had a space. Called to confirm and got speaking to the owner who was really rude and dismissive. Couldn't tell me if I had space either and basically said the carpark won't be locked anyway so it's up to me to park in the correct place. Looked online on street maps and the place looks terrible so was definitely not keen to leave my car. £30 lost but at least I didn't have to speak to owner again. Please do not use.

I paid online and unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances i was unable to use the service, when the time was right I emailed asking if it was refundable, the reply was shocking, basically no read the terms and conditions" customer service goes a long way and generates repeat business maybe you should think about that! I'll be happy to pay airport prices from now on so I don't have to use you"

Worst service ever and I would like to give him cero stars! Stay away from this guy and his parking service. I called him to make a reservation because the web site was down. He was upset because I according to him needed to call at least 24 hours before my stay, but there is no information about this anywhere and I called him almost 24 hours before anyway.He continued to be abusing and told me that I was better off parking somewhere else before he hanged up (!)I have never been treated this humiliating before and will never use his service. After reading online I'm very happy I did not.

Mistaken booking for airport. Rang to cancel and refused refund. Told “no refunds available TODAY! T&C’s said “minimum charge payable for cancellations or amendments”. Was fleeced £50 for a week’s parking that wasn’t used. In legal terms, this is known as “an illegal fee”…Avoid this car park and use the official one at the airport. Will be persuing this further.

We had a perfect experience, booked online a few days before we needed the parking, we live fairly locally to the airport but parking here was still cheaper than a taxi to and from an airport would have been and know one around to give us a lift and as there were 5 of us in the group, would have had to be double runs to the airport and was almost half the quoted price for the official parking, simple and hassle free, arrived 5 mins before my slot and someone on site came out and showed me where to park, it’s a tight yard and the reverse parking thing is key to the success of cars getting cars in and out so I can see why the owner is so keen that it is followed, they showed me the shortcut to the airport terminal as the yard is in the adjacent Dalcross Ind Est, with the shortcut it’s a 3-4mins walk, as per the signs it’s suggested that you drop any other passengers and luggage at the terminal first ( you get 10mins free for pick up and drop off at Inverness) and that’s exactly what we did, by the time I had dropped them at the terminal then dropped the car and then made it back it was 10mins later and by then my wife had booked in our hold luggage, it was the opposite on the way back, she waited to reclaim our baggage whilst I nipped round for the car. This worked flawlessly for us.

I wish I could give this guy a minus 5 on this review. After booking I was given no confirmation so messaged them to get one. They said my email bounced back which was a total lie. Apart from being semi illiterate, this guy must be the rudest person I've ever dealt with in my life. Their business is a total sham and if someone paid me £1000 or more each time I wanted to park I wouldn't use their business. The person I was dealing with here sounds like his last job was herding people onto dingeys at Calais!
