Great place. The guys were friendly, hiring was easy and no hassle at all, done in minutes. I followed the instructions on the website about the preparation and documents needed to hire a van, nothing more and nothing less, and that made for a smooth experience.The vehicle I was given was less than a year old and in great condition, perfect for what I had to do and easier to use than I had thought it would be. In fact, I got it in the morning at 9 and had finished by about 5 and able to return it the same day. Checking in was just as easy as checking out had been, and no issues with payment or the deposit return.Would definitely recommend and will use Arrow again.

One of their 7.5 ton lorries (WV63 LNW) is persistently bring parked on a residential area junction and creating a serious blind spot and safety hazard for the many pedestrians and cyclists who go through here towards Asda and other facilities.

Great experience with Arrow. I needed a van with short notice, and they were able to arrange this for me. Very good price, and a modern clean van was provided, with easy return options. Will be using again.

Hired a 9seat minibus for a family holiday, and the guys at Arrow were brilliant. They were the best price in Reading and have reasonably young vehicles, and off an out of hours drop off. The book out and check in process was easy and efficient, with no dramas. The Web site told me everything I needed to know, and posted current flat rate charges, unlike the others that require 60 questions answered and adjust the rate (depending on the weather etc) to maximise the price. Hence choosing Arrow was a no brainer.

I was desperate for a small van so rented from the first place that had one available, I had this van for a week and reuturned with no problems, I contacted them again and said I will need a van at the following week, they said no problem, called them 6 days in advance they said they had nothing for me, this worked out to be quite beneficial, I contacted another van rental company, Arrow charged me £270 for a week, I've managed to save over £100 going to another company, I feel ripped off how can they be that much more expensive, I will not be hiring from Arrow again.

Excellent service, however when I asked over the phone if there was any type of deposit etc, I was told ‘no, we take payment upfront over the phone’ however, this isn’t true because when I got there you proceeded to ask for a deposit anyway

Have rented from Arrow before and was happy with everything however a true test of a company is when something goes wrong and how they deal with it. I rented a 17 seater minibus for a long weekend for a wedding in Northamptonshire. On our first morning the van would not start as the electronic key fob had stopped working. It was not a case of just changing a battery in it as it had an immobiliser fitted and the battery was an integral part of the key fob. We contacted Arrow immediately whose response was “phone the AA”. We did this and eventually they turned up only to tell us they couldn’t do anything as we needed a key specialist or the spare set. After many more calls with Arrow and waiting around for the AA key specialist who never arrived and a lot of confusion whether we were AA or AA fleet and Arrow not being convinced it couldn’t be fixed by the AA man !! who was on the phone telling them quite clearly he couldn’t fix it other than tow it to a Ford garage somewhere which Arrow clearly didn’t want. Eventually Arrow agreed to send someone out to us with the spare key which luckily was under 2 hours away. The whole mess took up a whole morning to sort out and we were getting extremely anxious as we needed to leave in the minibus by 2pm. Arrow did arrive with the spare key which worked but we were left unable to use the fob to lock the side door of the minibus which was a nuisance. From now on I would only use Arrow if I was staying in the local area because they do not have the infrastructure to help you if you are out of the area. I am just glad we were no more than 2 hours away because I don’t know what would have happened if we were further away. They did not understand their own problem with the key and they certainly did not react promptly enough which caused us a lot of stress. It would have been lovely to have received some sort of explanation, apology, compensation from Arrow but sadly that was not the case.
