Absolute hell hole. Filthy, smelly and animals terrified. Dog needed vet treatment.

I work for a care company and take one of the people I look after to the farm to volunteer and John makes us all welcome and takes excellent care of all the animals.

John helped us to find the perfect pet for our home.He is keen to hear how our cat is settling in and loves to receive photos of his happy rescues. Great advice and tips when needed. Our second rescue from haven Thankyou John and your team of volunteers.

Called a few months ago about wanting to rehome a dog or cat. Phone call felt more like an interrogation, really rude and never contacted us back despite contacting twice. Gave the insinuation of us just wanting to breed our dog even though we wanted a neutered companion for her and she was only 7months at the time so not yet spayed. We also never mentioned a preferred gender. Jumps to conclusions before asking questions and overall seems in line with some of the other reviews posted. Avoid, it seems they don’t want good homes for their animals and would rather try to put people off adopting which is a shame

If I could give a 7 star rating I would. If you needa rescue pet or just advice he's the guy to talk to very very dedicated to Animals call him first .

Terrified for any animal that goes here. The place is filthy, animals don’t have fresh running water. He can never say no to any animal, so he ends up with 40 cats in with dogs. All these five star reviews must be fakes. If you’ve been there, you wouldn’t. Shame on anyone that takes their pets there. If you go. Ask for a tour. Really see where your putting your pets. My dog was so traumatised from being in there he needed rehabilitation. After finding the old owners number on his collar. The previous owner was so upset. As he’s was informed his dog was rehomed in just a couple of days and was told he would be staying his home. Little did he know, the dog was left for 3 months , middle of winter. No heating. And no other dogs around him. He was left in total darkness over night, and checked on from 1pm to 5pm. And nothing until the next afternoon.How do I know this? Because a friend works there. She’s calls it. ‘Saving the animals.’ He was also banned for ten years.Do not support this guy. It’s not a charity. If they really cared - they would be professionally set up, with running water, heated kennels and separate dogs and cats. All you need to do is YouTube Swindon district animal heaven’ it’s horrific.
