Camber Beach
I am giving 3 stars because the beach was amazing. Had the sands, lots and lots of sands, and pebbles. Parking does get full a bit quickly so it is best to go early. There are no huts for hire. So make sure you bring with you a tent or something to use to get changed. There are public toilets however, people are not clean. Unfortunately, people leave it in a mess. SHOWER - there is only one shower, next to the toilets. You need to wait for your turn.It would be great if the following was implemented in the future1) more showers, have it in boys and girls toilets- open showers inside the toilets. There is space2) huts - the ones at Bournemouth for hire not for sale. So that people can hire the hutsOtherwise for my first time trip to Camber sands it was great

This Camber beach is to the right of the main sandy beach. This beach is the rocky one where lifeguards and patrols do not come and man the place. Although beautiful I consider it dangerous. Mainly for locals.

One of the best Sandy beach near to london. The only downside is the parking is very costly and during holidays you have to go for private car parks which is basically open fields and not safe.

A beach in England with lots of sand! It's a lovely beach, big in size, with fish and chips shops close by. There is also small shops with ice cream and doughnuts available and a few cafes that sit on the beach. I went in January but my husband and I had a lovely day even with the cold breeze. Dogs ate allowed on the beach. Family friendly place. Parking available at a reasonable price.

Camber beach is fantastic all year round. Plenty of golden sands, amazing sand dunes and generally a very clean beach. It gets packed in the summer but that's what you get for such a lovely beach.

Beach is a lovely spot. Sand that goes on for miles (usually shallow water at both high and low tide), excellent for kids, clean, very well staffed with life guards and huge sandy dunes to explore. If you fancy a pub lunch/dinner I would strongly suggest driving to Rye if you can. The local ones that line the road were fine but very expensive for what they were and know they can charge for location. Whereas a 10 minute drive to excellent pubs, sweet town and castle.

Only sandy beach in the close to London or maybe in the UK its beyond beautiful. I visited on the hottest day this year by coincidence. It was 38 degrees. There were loads of people travelling here with their tents we also set up a tent at the beach absolutely beautiful beach walked on the coast on the way there and on the dunes on the way back. If you don't look around the loose sand reminds you of the middle east and beach was clean too.. worth a visit for sure

Nice sandy beach, and when the tide is out there's a lot of sand. Was quiet, but I visited in the daytime during the week, so not surprising.
