Dream Finish

Our camper van broke down whilst we were on a two-week trip in the UK and thankfully Mick came to our rescue. He let us stay outside his garage for two nights until the issue with the van was resolved. Further, he provided us with coffee and breakfast and even gave us the keys to his garage so we could use the toilet at night. He was definitely the kindest and most empathetic person we could have hoped to come across. Thanks ever so much!

Today was my first day back at work after an extended break , since working over Xmas holidays for Network Rail (26 years service to present)And what do you know ? I get our van stuck in a field , trying to turn round after dropping off colleagues , to do a bridge examination near Allscott (Telford /Wellington area) at approx 10:30 in the morning , to go back and wait for them before moving on to next bridge etc.Got van well and truly stuck as field was a mud bath , not realizing how soft the ground was . (Even though it looked sturdy to take a 3.5t van on it)Tried in vain to get van out but to no avail .I phoned our fleet support to report the matter and after nearly 2.5 hrs of waiting, I learnt that no-one could either recover us as they didn't have the resources available or they just didn't want to come out to us at all due to the nature of being in a field , some 300 metres from main road.Then out of the blue , Mick from Dream Finish contacted me and said a colleague of his ,will be out in next 30 min or so , as they had just been given the job from fleet support ,and were prepared to a least have a go at towing us out.Sure enough Micks colleague came within 20min and towed us out , all the way out of the field to the main road to safety !To say I cannot thank Mick & his staff enough , is an understatement after over 3 hrs stuck in a field , I was soon off for a bite to eat & a coffee after a bloody good handshake with the guy who got us out.For a small private sub contractor , this was excellent service and its these company's that bring faith and confidence .So please AA give Mick and staff 10/10 for his superb rescue.Who gets a van stuck ? well anybody can !! were only human and nearly 30 years of driving , its still a learning curve.Cheers Mick :)

My wife broke down 150 miles from home. These guys were outstanding. They got to her in 15 minutes. Took her 20 miles in a car to her appointment. Collected her 90 mins later once she had finished. Then lent her a car to drive home as their lorry needed a repair itself. They then dropped our car off to the garage that evening once I had got home from work. They could not have been more helpful. Service like this is not often found in this country. Thank you!

A Big Thank You to Mick from DFL for the recovery of my Harley Davidson V-Rod on 17/06/17 late evening after a battery failure.My Pride n Joy was safely and professionally secured and transport from Welshpool to Whitchurch Shropshire.Mick was great company on the way back home where we sorted out all of the worlds problems!!I would fully recommend DFL for motorcycle recovery to any fellow bikers that find themselves stranded at the road side.The bike is now sorted and I hope never to need you again!!cheers Nick

I had the misfortune to need recovery for my car after having a puncture late on a Sunday afternoon & my repair gel being out of date. Mick from Dream Finish is a friendly, cheerful man with a reassuring manner he arrived in the allocated time & even spoke with a local tyre centre before arriving to remain open on the Sunday afternoon for us. Unfortunately we didn't want to pay the price of a tyre from this garage & Mike had no problem taking us & the car to our home address. Thanks again Mike.

My wife and I were fortunate enough to have been picked up and driven two hours back to Leicester today by Mick. He delivered a first class service in every sense of the word and we are so grateful to him. Thank you Mick!

I am not at all surprised to read the other reviews and find the 5 star service delivered by Dream Finish has been recognised by everybody.Having broken down on the m54 on boxing day, I had an AA van come out to see the car. Noting that it would need a low-loader to be transported home to North Wales, i was left again, for a further two hours whilst they tried to find somebody to take the job (the AA prefer not to do long distance recoveries themselves and tend to outsource).Thankfully Mick was the one who accepted the job and was with me in 30 minutes. Recognising that I had been stood on the side of the motorway in the December cold for 3 hours, he suggested stopping at the nearest services so that i could warm myself with a coffee and some food; a really appreciated gesture. His manner throughout ensured I didn't feel too guilty for having him drive me such a long way and through heavy rain and flood warnings in North Wales, and it was nice to have somebody to talk to comfortably for the whole journey.Cannot recommend highly enough. Many thanks for your help Mick!

Mick travelled nearly a 100 miles, on New Years day to pick us up, when no local recovery company was prepared to rescue us from a tiny lay-by, near the Welsh coast. We had no amenities, it was pitch black and we would have been waiting for a lot more than 3 hours if it hadn't been for Mick.He kept in touch on the phone so we knew his ETA and was kind enough to let us stop off on the return journey to grab a drink and some food. Can't thank him enough... an absolutely top bloke. 10/10

Mick was absolutely fantastic. Delivered myself and the vehicle to a local trusted Vw Specialist who sorted my problem within 20 minutes. Knowing that I had a couple of hours drive ahead of me Mick kindly offered me a Cup of tea and a lovely piece of home cooked sponge cake T his premises. Mick was polite,Knowledgeable and friendly throughout. I couldn't recommend Mick highly enough.

Last night I had the misfortune to need recovery for my car. That was where the misfortune ended though because I was recovered by Mick from Dream Finish. Mick is a friendly, cheerful man with a reassuring manner. When he arrived at my car last night it became clear that this was to be no ordinary job for him. Firstly my car weighs over 2 tons and this alone posed problems. It is a particular type of automatic, meaning the wheels cannot be turned other than by the engine. This posed more problems. Finally the car was situated in such a position that Mick could not get his specialist equipment into position on the wheels. Despite all this, Mick remained calm, friendly and determined to succeed. Given that it was a very cold night, this was doubly impressive. If you ever have the misfortune to need recovery services, consider yourself fortunate indeed if Mick from Dream Finish is the man who turns up to rescue you!
