Railway Museum Road Train
Brilliant place to go, you can spend at least 3 to 4 hours here. Great for children and adults alike, and the Orient Express VR experience is a must.There is a cafe on site, plus seating around if you need to sit and take in the magnitude of the place.Highly recommended, and it's free! Donations are welcomed.

Railway Museum Road Train
It's good, for the historic trains and day out and it's free also they is a VIP flying scottman experience. Unfortunately my partner and I was too late to get on it, it's definitely a go back to see it. We didn't use the road train to get there, its not too bad walk from the York Station.

Stunning collection of trains under one roof! If you are a train lover, this is your paradise! The museum is under expansion, so you can feel that the display is overcrowded.

We had an amazing day, on Monday the 13th of November. We both did the VR experience, and we weren't disappointed. Also, we stopped at the cafe and had tea and cake. We would definitely go again

Railway Museum Road Train
Just love the place. Firstly it is free which is just amazing since the placeil is a gem, filled with great historical relics trainwise. Amazing display and collection. There are places for kids to platly and spend time in. A couple of food joints to eat in also. Replica of trains, small model of like a countryside with small trains passing through and mainly the historic trains displayed, we all loved it.

It was alright, the entry is free but quite a big section was closed when we went. It's quite a quick museum and doesn't take long to go through. If you're into trains it's probably a fun hour or so, but otherwise it can be quite tedious

It was nice to get to know about the history in the development of trains. The entry was free, and they had a cafe inside the museum.
