We had the pleasure of working with Sam and her team twice, for a covid wedding, and a 1 year Wedding celebrations. Its hard to explain in writing how brilliant they were, how much they made the day special and added to the joy we enjoyed. The team did an amazing job and their support behind the scenes to bring it all to life was just fantastic. I could not recommend Sam and her team more.

Sam provided flowers and decoration for my wedding in March. I was honestly blown away by the flowers she delivered on the day...they were stunning. Absolutely exceeded all my expectations. Leading up to the wedding Sam was a pleasure to deal with and happy to talk through ideas on numerous occasions to make sure we got it just right. Sam added all the finishing touches to the venue on the big day and it all looked beautiful. I was thrilled with how it all turned out - thank you Sam!

Sam provided all our wedding flowers. She was phenomenal from start to finish, finding out exactly what we wanted and working with us to fit our budget. The bouquets and centrepieces were simply stunning, everyone complemented them and we were able to enjoy them for a good week after.

Wonderful florist. They created beautiful, fragrant bouquets for my daughter’s wedding, and stunning displays at the church and venue. They listened carefully to our requests and acted on them. They delivered promptly. And were reasonably priced. Just brilliant!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Sam's skill and artistic vision completely brought our wedding to life with a riot of deep, vibrant colours. I had briedesmaids in different colour dresses so was really relying on my flowers, their bouquets, to tie the whole thing together. Sam welcomed us to her home on a snowy morning in feburary to talk to us about our summer wedding. She really understood the look I was going for and had some really useuful tips to work out how we could use the aranagements cleverly throughout the day. When we gifted the centre pieces away at the end of the evening people were sending me pictures of the flowers still thriving which speaks of the quality and freshness of the flowers. Using seasonal flowers was important to us and Sam uses hieght so well in her arrangements that the overall effect was spectular. Thank you Sam!

Sam was a delight to work with. She really listened to my ideas as I mainly wanted to use herbs such as eucalyptus, rosemary and mint with some flowers to enhance my bouquet and she more than delivered!I was absolutely thrilled with the service, advice and attention to detail that she provided for all the bouquets, button holes and table displays for my twilight wedding. Violets and Velvet provided the most stunning wedding flowers and foliage! I was quite particular with not wanting too many flowers with a focus on foliage and greenery, Sam listened and more than delivered! Sam and her colleague were also the most lovely people, working until 8:30pm before the wedding to make sure the vision was brought to life! I couldn’t recommend them enough!

Sam at Violets and Velvet is an absolute artist! She really made our wedding so special with her stunning floral arrangements. Every guest and even our other suppliers all commented on the quality of the flowers and how well they suited the venue. She really got my vision and the colour pallet she chose was spot on! We gifted some flowers to guests who couldn't be at the wedding and they lasted for days afterwards (and our wedding day was a hot day). Sam uses seasonal flowers and some are even grown by herself making Violets and Velvet a really great choice for couples looking for a sustainable option.I also have to comment on the floristry workshops Sam does. I had a fabulous time last December doing the Christmas wreath workshop. This was such a fun day and really great value for money. I can’t wait to sign up for any future workshops you decide to do.
