A great venue for a 45th school reunion

A very big thank you to Gill and her team at my twin grandsons christening on Saturday. Very modern very clean excellent staff drinks well priced for a function. Everyone really enjoyed themselves and would throughly reccomend it to anyone looking for a function room. Wishing the club all the best in the future

Held our Wedding Reception here on 20/11/2021.Staff were so helpful and friendly especially with having to rearrange due to covid.The availability to use the clubs aux cable to stream our own music was a blessing. Staff serving at the bar on the night were friendly to talk to, prompt and helped make an amazing and memorable night for us.Thankyou so much for everything, Amy

I went to a private function. The room was hired by friends for family birthday celebrations. Great room, very friendly staff. Nice and clean. Didn't know this club was there but by pictures on walls inside, looks like they have some really good night's. Will be looking into joining club in future. Great party

My Wife and myself would like to thank the club and staff following our son’s wake, Thursday 02/02/23.A special thanks to Louise for the catering, the food was excellent and exactly what we ordered.Over 100 people came to the funeral, not everyone came back but the club was more that capable of accommodating them if they did.Thanks again,Janette and Mark Liddell

Place is nice and people are so friendly and polite. I really like the atmosphere. I feel welcome on this place.

A fantastic club with a warm atmosphere to members and non-members. More than 60 years old and still running.Many people seem to be put off by the name, but the club isn’t political in anyway – you can be a Conservative, Labour or even Scottish Nationalist, everyone is welcome.The venue offers lots of great events throughout the year. These include different & professional music acts, Open Mic Nights, Ballroom/Sequence Dancing evenings, Yoga Classes, Bell Target Shooting and much more.Facilities include a Function Room (which can hold 120 people - used mainly for dancing and parties), a Bar (with a wide selection of drinks, including Draught Beers) and a Snooker Room. The car park has plenty of spaces, plus the toilets are always kept very clean. As well, the staff are extremely pleasant and helpful.The club has also helped me. I started performing on stage at the Blue Monkey Club Open Mic Nights back in 2012, which helped me gain the confidence and experience for my semi-professional singing career. I now do shows at the Con Club at least 3 times a year, as well as singing in other venues, all thanks to the club.The committee has recently been run by some brilliant chaps who have tried their best to keep the club running by bringing in various music acts such as The Black Country Beatles, The Glamophones and Ricky Cool & The In Crowd, as well as charity quiz nights and karaoke evenings.Hope the review has been useful to you. Came here for a christening. Staff were wonderful and nothing was too much trouble for them, they enjoy a laugh aswell. Reasonable drink prices and a good selection available. Room is nice and big with air con and a large stage for a dj.
