The university hall is an excellent venue but getting into the concert on 4th Dec was a nightmare. Firstly cars were in a queue on campus that didn't move yet there was plenty of parking. We then had to queue again to get into the hall instead of just walking in as before. Just 2 desks processing people. Here we were given 'dummy' tickets with nothing written on them. I got 5 for 4 people. What a waste of paper and time. Because of this the concert started 20 minutes late. My print out stated that the bar was closed. It wasn't. The whole scenario is unacceptable. The concert was excellent - stunning programme, so the evening was rescued.

Really great organisation on Lancaster university campus - hold theatre productions and concerts frequently with discounted tickets for students and others. Always have a variety of shows going on and a nice bar to drink from. Would recommend to anyone interested!

A hidden gem, this gallery and performance space have a top class offer ! I've attended several performances which have always been engaging, meaningful and very thought provoking. The standard is so professional, boundaries are stretched to new levels of understanding, and I know I want more.In the gallery more traditional art forms are explored with visiting shows, and their own vast collection, which has some very important pieces of work, for example right now there is a Mondrian and a Matisse on show. Don't miss out !
