By far the best bakery in Reading!Go for the seeded sourdough which is out of this world and end up grabbing also one of those incredible doughnuts (the strawberries and cream one is the best doughnut I've ever had. Period), or a cruffin, or the brownie.... The hardest part of going there is deciding what to buy because literally everything is outstanding.Apparently they do pizzas (or pizza dough) sometimes too, I need to try them out at some point!

Everything we’ve ordered from there has been delicious ! Cruffins, cinnamon rolls, bread. This morning we tried the pain au chocolat and it was amazing, haven’t been able to find such a good one since I’ve moved from France to the UK.

Poor quality bakery on the outskirts of town. With very very limited choiceBread can be anything from inedibly salty (focaccias), to completely unseasoned depending on the day.Donut ‘custards’ are simply a whipped cream rather than a creme patissiere.Extortionate pricing for a below average product. Even supposed late in the day discounting is sporadic, and not apparently honored if unrequested.Pastries are not on the league of the chain Gail’s, and not even on the same planet as birch in pangbourne.Not good enough at all. Very very bitter taste left, again.A genuine shame, as the only independent in the main town, but independent should never be a byword or excuse for this level of quality and service.

Best Bakery In Reading! No competition. Everything homemade on the spot, you can literally see it coming out onto the shelves fresh as you walk in. I went there bright and early to be sure to get a selection and got my self a Mushroom and cheese Croissant and Crunim i think its called (croissant muffin with pineapple jam and rasberry crunch on top) Total was £6.80. Both were big and filled to the brim with stuffings and still warm considering i walked back home about 15 mins in the cold before i could eat them. I paid with cash, so that was nice, and the shop owner recommended ordering in advance (still with pick up) if I want sth in particular in the future. The only downside is they are open only a few hours and a few days a week. Still so worth it!!

My favourite bakery in Reading. Lovely baked goods and always welcoming staff.You have to try their Saturday specials and the cheddar and jalapeno sourdough! It's truly amazing.

Their pastries/bread is just amazing! I always buy bread for my morning toast, is now a tradition. Brownies are amazing too, well in general everything is amazing, I did not eat anything that wasn’t good. I was very lucky to get a TooGoodToGo today and able to try some different pastries and oh my god!!! So glad I had it! 100% recommended! The best one in Reading

Excellent selection of bread/ pastries etc. Their pastries in particular are so so tasty, some of the best I've had...so glad they supply regularly to Fidget and Bob and other coffee shops in Reading but also love the free local delivery when you purchase directly.Nice that they change up the flavours of pastries frequently...cronuts and cruffins are a must try and they have a great selection of vegan treats too. And they are very generous!Couldn't recommend this place enough, 10/10 all round!

Reading’s best hidden gem. Wonderful bakery, from their bread to sweet. Lovely staff, fairly priced and 100% delicious

Quaint little bakery, but only a stone's throw away from broad street mall so really convenient. I pre ordered the Pain au Levain and mystery cruffin pair, got the passionfruit curd donut when I was there.Cruffins were a bit disappointing, perhaps more exciting in concept than taste. But both the praline and chocolate cream fillings were really good!The donut and the sourdough were exceptional though! Passion fruit curd just the right balance of tang and sweetness, donut super fluffy. Sourdough excellent flavour, tangy and spongy on the inside with a wonderful crust.Will definitely order again
