Colville itself is absolutely stunning and the staff and Claire were faultless. It was hands down the best day of our lives. Thank you to the team. We thought the sound meter could be a problem but actually you would have never known.

We had our wedding at Colville Hall in September 2023. Everyone commented on what a gem it is and how utterly beautiful the barns and grounds are. We used Limeberry catering and Aaron Crowe photography both recommended by Colville and both fabulous! We were worried by the sound limiter but we really shouldn’t have been, we had a live band and had no issues at all. Both Philippa, through the booking process and Claire our coordinator on the day were super helpful and gave some excellent advice and guidance. I would definitely recommend.

Colville Hall was the first venue that my now husband and I viewed after we first got engaged back in 2018. We then viewed a few other barn style venues in Essex and we just kept comparing them to Colville - they didn't even come close! The venue is stunning, the grounds are beautiful and there was plenty of space for all of our guests (we had 100 + for the day, then another 50 in the evening!). Claire the Coordinator was fantastic on the day and leading up to the wedding. She was so warm and friendly and nothing was too much trouble! She was always on hand if we had any questions, and her service combined with the caterers Premier Crew make an excellent team. Our only criticism was that we would have loved to have stayed in the Bridal Suite the night of the wedding but the owner of the venue wouldn't allow us to because we hadn't booked the other accommodation, even though we were willing to pay. Despite this, we had a wonderful day and many of our guests commented that it was the best wedding they'd ever been to. Overall, would definitely recommend this venue.

We had the most incredible wedding day in July 2023 at Colville Hall. Claire and the team are extremely knowledgeable, talented and kind. From the pre-wedding meetings where we went through every item in detail, got to re-walk the venue and were given really valuable advice from Claire, through to the day itself - the team are fantastic. They provide quality service, everything ran smoothly on the day (not one thing went wrong, which is extremely rare at any event) and we had a blast. Claire set up everything on the day for us, working with our vendors, and it looked perfect! We had planned for an outdoor ceremony (but due to the eventful UK weather, we had to change plans), Claire adapted our plans easily and made sure the barn looked stunning. Nothing was too much of an ask and it really made it such a fun and happy day for us - they really did make our dreams come true. Thanks again to the wonderful team - Em & Sean

From when we first looked around the venue, the wedding coordinator Claire was warm and personable which was a big pull factor to us choosing Colville Hall for our special day. Throughout the process speaking to her was so easy, and nothing was ever too much of a problem...especially when I had about 101 questions! On the day everything ran so smoothly, there were no issues that we were aware of. Claire was such a lovely wedding coordinator and we are so glad she was assigned to our wedding. The bar staff were great too, especially as we had a large wedding and had a cocktail list so there were a variety of drinks to make.Colville Hall as a venue is stunning, we have always wanted to get married in a barn and the fact there were two at the location was ideal. Even when we visited in the winter months you could still appreciate how lovely it is there, so when the sun was shining on our wedding day it couldn't have looked any better. Many of our wedding party commented about how beautiful the venue was on the day.Alex and I would definitely recommend couples to have their wedding at Colville Hall, and for Claire to be their wedding coordinator, we couldn't have wished for a better day, it was perfect.The only thing I would say if I was being fussy is maybe to try and get rid of the spider's that are in the accommodation, this probably wouldn't bother many people but I'm terrified of them so it was just something I noticed. I can appreciate though that as it's a barn that would be pretty hard to get rid of them all!Thanks so much again x

We got Married at Colville hall, and it was an absolutely amazing day. We knew from the moment we saw the venue it was where we wanted to get married no other venue came close to its beauty. It was exactly what we wanted. Claire our wedding planner was incredible, helping us plan the wedding before hand and making sure everything ran smoothly during the day its self! I really could not have done it with out her, she looked after us so well and we knew we were safe hands. We really can’t thank Claire enough, she made sure our special day was everything we wanted it to be and more! Thank you

We had a wonderful time celebrating a family wedding at this venue. Staff were all helpful and friendly for the whole long day, and the outdoor and indoor space made it an absolute joy to spend time here. Their vegan meals were exceptional, they were provided without fuss, and were insanely delicious.

My partner and I got married at Colville Hall in October and it couldn't have gone better. The venue is beautiful and the grounds make it seem private and very personal to you and your wedding guests. The wedding planner Claire is incredible and will make the day run super smoothly. We honestly couldn't be more happy with our special day taking place there. :-)

As wedding florists - Poppies Floral Design have over 20 years of experience. As you can imagine that we have worked with many venues in the past. Colville Hall is a stunning venue with so, so many original features. It is always so hard for us to decide where we should decorate because there are so many fantastic opportunities. But hey what a problem to have. Its uniqueness is amazing and the incredible history that is there at your fingertips is awesome. To be able to have your wedding day in such amazing surroundings is truly spectacular. We have worked with the staff and owners for several years now and always enjoy decorating this venue and working closely with the couples to create their special day. We would highly recommend this venue.
