The best bridal shop around! I had the best experience with Sharon, she made me feel so at ease and really listened to what I was looking for, unlike other local shops I visited. I did not feel any pressure to buy a dress (unlike other shops) but Sharon helped me to find the perfect dress and made my experience the best of any shop I visited. I cannot wait to pick my dress up soon - thanks so much Sharon, you're a superstar and I wouldn't recommend anywhere else!

It was the first shop we went to, as I was aware they have been in Eltham since I was a child!My daughter is getting married abroad, so wanted a lightweight dress.My daughter tried on a few dresses and immediately once the dress was the one, her nan paid for it. No pressure on selling dresses, sound advice on how the dress will be altered and what will happen next. Lovely relaxed atmosphere! Thank you x

Ohhh Sharon, what a woman! Thank you so much for looking after my friend (the bride to be) and I. It was such a beautiful experience!! Dresses were pre-picked for my friend, based off the pre-appointment phone call and they were stunning! We were allowed to take pictures, whilst Sharon spoke us the design and things we might need to consider on the day. There was no pressure to make any decisions, Sharon was just real, funny and very honest about how the dresses fit or could be altered. Genuinely thank you for being so lovely and welcoming!

Could not recommend more! I had an issue with a dress I'd bought from another shop 2 weeks before my wedding, Gillian Roberts had the dress that I wanted in stock so I visited to try it on. Emma & Hazel were so friendly, welcoming and kind, especially as they could see I was a little frantic and stressed. They went above and beyond to ensure I had the dress that I wanted on my wedding day, and also supporting me in the process to turn everything around super quickly. I am incredibly grateful and would highly recommend Gillian Roberts to anyone looking for their dream dress, with kind, caring and knowledgeable service.

5 stars is not enough for this special bridal boutique. Was the 1st bridal shop I visited and last as I found my dream dress here. Many many thanks to both Sharon and Laura who went above and beyond to look after me, my mum and sister and provided objective, honest and caring advice until I found the one. So professional but so warm and hospitable. I felt like I was in safe hands throughout the whole experience. They turned an experience I had been so nervous about into one of the best parts of my wedding journey. Its no wonder Gillian Robert has been an Eltham institution for over 30 years.

My experience with Gillian Roberts Bridal & Sewing Rooms is one I certainly will never forget. Sharon, Laura, Hazel & Sau quickly became a family away from home. I cannot recommend GR & Sewing Rooms enough. I never had to ask a single question as they beat me to it every time, along with their knowledge they gave advice, support and lifted my mood each time I visited! I felt like I was with my closest girlfriends. Hazel created my veil and took the time to sit and design it with me, It was everything I ever wanted & more. AMAZING ! I had the most wonderful experience at Gillian Roberts Bridal with both my sister and my mum present. I had been to a number of shops prior and they were no near as friendly and accommodating. Sharon was SO lovely; very friendly and helpful and made the experience so pleasant, but as my wedding was pushed back 18 months due to COVID, all the staff was amazing ! They kept me updated even though my dress was with The Sewing Rooms for alterations. They have a variety of dresses and allow more than enough time for appointments, which meant I could try on so many until I found 'the one' and when I did it was the most amazing feeling and Sharon's reaction was so memorable!I absolutely loved my dress and received so many compliments on my wedding day. I'm not ready to put it away!I can't recommend Gillian Roberts Bridal enough. Thank you so for everything ! x

Absolutely brilliant store. It was the last one I visited on the day, and I thought I’d already fallen in love with a dress from another shop, but then I walked in and fell in love with the ladies, their warmth, their helpfulness and all the insane gowns they had on offer. 3 dresses later and I had found the one. I love it and everyone said that it’s my personality in the form of a dress. The ladies were absolutely amazing and I loved the experience on the day and every visit thereafter - they became like family. This shops was miles away from my home and I almost didn’t visit, but so damn glad I did!

Cannot recommend this boutique enough! The ladies are so lovely and certainly know their stuff on what suits you. The shop has a really caring atmosphere and you feel at ease straight away. I used The Sewing Rooms (which is owned by the same ladies) for my alterations and my dress fitted beautifully. I would recommend this shop to anyone and I felt like a princess on our special day.
