Optimum Air Conditioning

Excellent service from Neil and the team at Optimum Air Conditioning. They attended our cafe to look over some equipment which we didn't know whether to dispose of, store or sell. Neil was very professional during his visit and offered advice on how to proceed. He's also recommended a company who will purchase the equipment from us. Good communication through email and in person, very responsive.

I've been forced to use a family members google account to reply to Optimum air conditionings response on my negative review of their company, it appears my account is blocked so Im unable to respond. This raises the question if they have done nothing wrong then why try and silence/censor me.In response to their reply:•I have only reviewed the company on Facebook and google review (not every social media platform). I have every right to give a negative review considering the negative impact the units had on me and my family's health and the De-valuation of my property. I also only recently discovered the company's name to give that negative review. This was obtained via freedom of information requests (4in total) to gather evidence (which takes a long time) to sue their customer. This includes the Noise Assessment carried out by Acoustics and Noise Ltd, which supports my position.• The installation of the units was in Sep/oct 2017 which was almost 3 years (not 4) my investigation has been a long drawn out process but regardless of time passed their company still installed the units (5 meters from my sons bedroom window).• Everything I say is true, the Units did not have planning permission. The Council installed sound recording equipment in my sons bedroom, due to those recordings they refused the retrospective planning application and took action against their customer in the form of a stop notice which prohibited the use of the units. The Houston Dental Group then had to carry out works to reduce the noise from the units (installation of acoustic boxes around them)• I've met Mr Bainbridge twice (not once for 30 seconds as he states) 1st time was for about 15mins on the dentist flat roof after he installed the units with Rikky Bonner and other contractors present. 2nd time was 16months later in February 2019 when he was installing the acoustic castings (his client had to fit in order to retain the units in that location). I was stood in my garden and he told me. A, Rikky had been assaulted by one of the renderers over unpaid wages (fractured cheekbone). B, the units won't have been a problem if the tenants of the building had used them during working hours. C, that he wish he had never seen the job".•The Covid-19 pandemic has caused further concerns

Excellent service and value for money. Had air con in our loft conversion from optimum and its the best thing we ever did. Very neat unit and couldnt be without it now. The team were punctual, polite and left no mess. Amazing service, would recommend.

Optimum were extremely helpful and professional when advising and installing an AC unit in my loft conversion. Their work was of Very high quality and both engineers were extremely trust worthy and friendly. Would highly recommend !

**DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY**Neil Bainbridges company, Optimum Air Conditioning were the company that installed 5 large and overbearing air conditioning units on The Houston Dental Groups new training seminar in Weston Super Mare. It has been proven by North Somerset Councils investigation that None of the units had planning permission. They were positioned 5meters away from my son's bedroom window and 8 meters from my bedroom.The units were installed against proximity guidelines, noise pollution legislation, Health and Safety legislation, industry standards and the allowed Planning Development scope. The units were not cited or detailed on the plans submitted to North Somerset Planning Department. The Acoustic Noise Report that was submitted with the Planning Application states that some units should have been installed on the East side of the new Houston Dental Laboratory which overlooks a large park called Ashcombe Park not the West side where there are residential dwellings. According to an email from Mr Bainbridge to the building sites Forman Rikky Bonner on the 1/8/17 that the nosiest unit was 63db noise level" which when left on overnight or turned on at 6am was extremely loud given the close proximity to the rear bedrooms.Upon insulation I questioned Neil Bainbridge about the unit's whist he was on site
