Student Roost - Trinity Square - Student Accommodation

This accommodation is the worst accommodation ever. Please consider before living in here.The receptionists are so rude and mean and they’re never helpful idk why they are there. they stopped having water for a whole day without having any alternatives and they sent an email telling us they have all the alternatives but they had nothing. We stayed without water for a whole day. They are irresponsible and honestly they don’t care about their tenants. We pay them so much and yet they don’t have any concern for our money or our staying experience. We come here to stay without our families to make a home for ourselves but this accommodation makes our life hell. Please start considering what you put your tenants through and be responsible for your actions and make some changes.

Review from parent's POV. Ideal accommodation for a first year University student. Decent size room with ensuite with shared kitchen. Be prepared for the move in day as its chaotic! One lift in the place and security/reception staff seem helpful. Once inside the accommodation, its clean and has all the amenities ie laundry room with dryers. Nice outside area with few benches to sit on. Three quarterly all inclusive payments so no need to worry about any additional bills. All in all, well worth considering the accommodation a first year student, secure, fully inclusive, close to all amenities and right in the centre of hustle and bustle!!

On get in day only one main lift worked and this has been the case so far since September, and that was also out of action for a number of weeks. My daughter is on the 10th floor and the block lift has also been out of action for nearly 2 months. The washing facilities are poorly maintained with broken card units and unreliable machines. Internal electrics are dodgy and the promises of community events have so far been empty. Very poor for the money.

The location is perfect. It is at the center of everything apart from the train station which is about 20mins walk from there. It is clean and the staff is very friendly. Would recommend to any student looking for a nie studio.

The photos on the site do not reflect the drabness of the rooms. They need modernizing or at least painting. There was mild in the shower and bathroom. Extremely noisy place. Good points were it is extremely central and has beautiful buildings. It was bearable for two nights but could not imagine spending longer as very depressing room.

Problems take months to be addressed if at all. Lifts keep breaking. No social events. Lack of cleaning in common areas and rooms on start of tenancy leave a lot to be desired. Needs refurbishment and maintenance.

Great place for our granddaughter. Lovely helpful staff, good location.

Very homely accommodation, for students looking for somewhere to live during their studies!- The staff are always very courteous, helpful, friendly and responsive to any inquires or requests made by all tenants.- Affordable rent prices, that have reasonable variations based on the types of rooms.- Reliable Wifi- Centrally based in the town city centre, resulting in more convenience on the grounds of locality for the campus, stores, shopping centre, gym, transport stations and clubs. Providing a much easier environment to settle into.- Professional 24 hour security, that can be trusted.- Proactively running social events that engage students to make new friends, work together harmoniously on projects that improve the quality of life for all tenants, and ultimately provides many rewarding incentives for the students in exchange for their loyalty.Overall, a very lovely accommodation I have had the privilege of reviewing! Started as a new student in September 2020. The kitchen is an unbelievable mess. The cooker does not work ans has wires hanging out of the vent, the drawers in the freezer have snapped, the chairs in the common room are shapless and filthy and the vacum cleaner smells awfully when being used.The reception area is so unwelcoming it is unbelievable. It is dingy and smelly. I am so disappointed- the place is nothing like it is advertised on the website.Not worth the money in any shape or form.

The staff are extremely pleasant and helpful, they do things straight away and are always happy without a doubt and very willing to help.Hallways are always clean due to great cleaners. The lighting in the rooms is new and most things are up to a high standard, if they aren't its no fault of the members of staff. The only thing that could be improved is the paint jobs in the rooms and kitchens. Other than that great, Thanks.It is also in the heart of the city center so a very short walk to everything.
