I did some outsource work with them years ago on behalf of the company I was with at the time. It was a large contract, too, and of a sensitive nature. All good people.I note how many idiotic comments are from tinfoil hat wearers who've never had anything to do with them, but have 'reviewed' them purely because they are 'government' and at 'that place'.Some of you really, really need to get a life.Oh, and the countryside round there is beautiful. Loads of ancient monuments. Drove down there dozens of times.

If it's taken them 'decades to poison the public at Porton' then they obviously aren't doing a very good job of it.This is the organisation whose research might just save your paranoid little life when somebody throws another dose of novichok in your general direction.

Don't Believe The Hype. It's not a good place to work. Dstl claims to support their workers, but when it comes down to it, they do not. They talk the talk, but don't walk the walk. Also, most of the technical work is outsourced to academia and industry, and so most of your time is spent technical partnering" (aka sitting with a headset on) talking to the people doing the work. There are much better places to work. I cannot recommend this place to anyone. It's all a front."

Its a secure Ministry of Defence site, what more is there to say!06/05/2022. Still the same, no change, no entry for sightseeing!A very busy site supporting the U.Ks interests worldwide.Supporting conservation, biodiversity and featuring SSSI areas a real asset to Britain.

Horrible place. The British government have been devising ways to poison the public at Porton for decades. They're all loving these vile covid vials now. To hell with them all.
