Amazing staff, friendly service, made everything easy to understand. Found this place via groupon but totally worth every penny and more! Going to use the rings for our engagement and coming back to made our own wedding rings too we loved the idea that they are personalised just for us to us all the care detail time everything we did ourselves. These rings are perfect because they mean so much to us since we did it ourselves. We honestly can't wait to come back x

Yesterday my fiancee and I made our wedding bands together at The Glamorous Owl.We were so impressed! The whole day was absolutely awesome. We started with two bits of white gold, then hammered, soldered, blowtorched and polished them into incredible, beautiful rings.There is something incredibly satisfying about taking a strip of metal and turning it into a beautiful, shiny ring.Claire made the day even more enjoyable with her great humour and gentle, skilled support of the ring-making process. The afternoon tea was great and we left feeling absolutely chuffed that we'd chosen The Glamorous Owl.Thanks Claire - and thanks to your Mum for the lovely afternoon tea!

What an amazing experience...making your own rings. A lovely friendly atmosphere and the two girls teaching us were great. Lots of choice in size,style and pattern for the rings. A beautiful finished product made by yourself, which will hold sentimental value. Absolutely loved it.

I shared some of my most personal, heartbreaking information with this vendor at a time when I was incredibly vulnerable.I contacted this business to ask (months in advance) for the opportunity to discuss availability and to hopefully book in for a session of ring making, to mark an exceptionally sentimental moment for our family with their services.Not being local, I was prepared to travel hundreds of miles from home and also to book overnight accommodation to facilitate the experience.This potential customer's polite request was ignored for a number of months.I reached out to the vendor despite the silence whereby I received an apology coupled with the offer of an immediate follow up correspondence in the coming days. This did not happen. I was ghosted twice.The dates I had pencilled in came and went.I did not need a friend. I did not need a favour. I wasn't especially fussed about a discount and I certainly could have handled a no.What I needed was basic customer care and some professionalism.I received nothing followed by false hopes, then nothing again, at a time of real desperation. We all have off days at work I suppose (?) However this happened twice and I can't fathom what I did wrong.I am unaccustomed to leaving negative reviews but on reflection I am so sad to have experienced this reaction, especially when I was reaching out from the void. At a real low point in my life I dreamt of a pleasant day out and a meaningful experience with the person who had been by my side throughout our trauma and grief. I was prepared to travel a long distance and pay a fair price for the privilege.Beware. This person was complaisant at best, but deeply cruel with a real lack of empathy/basic human decency at worst.I really do regret sharing my personal story with this company but at least I can share my experience with you dear reader.A lesson learned.In addition...A sincere apology does not include caveats or qualifiers. 'But' almost always signifies a rationalization

Had a fabulous day bangle making with my daughter. The workshop was so relaxed and absolutely amazing. Loved every minute of it. The tutor was fantastic and we wish you well for your forthcoming wedding. Hopefully we will be back before then. Thank you so much.AMAZING.

Excellent morning. Really enjoyable. Mothers day present for my mam and we made each other's ring as a lovely keepsake. Sarah the tutor was very good. Definitely recommend this place.

My husband purchased a saw piercing class as a birthday gift for me. I was very apprehensive as the only experience I had was that of an earlier ring and bangle class.My tutor for the day, Sarah, called me a few days before to ask me to come with some ideas to the class and explained what we would be doing.On the day Sarah was really helpful and showed me how to do some of the skills she has mastered over the years. It was difficult but with the help and reassurance from Sarah, I left the course with two beautiful pieces.

Me and my girlfriend decided to do the ring making class for our anniversary. Neither had done this before so weren't sure whether we would enjoy. We worried over nothing as we had absolutely amazing time! Both teachers were amazing, Sarah who looked after us was really lovely and great at talking us through the process and making sure we were doing ok. At the end you get to walk away with a brilliant experience, bit of knowledge and a handmade silver ring. Anyone thinking about doing this should book up immediately, I have no doubt we would do something with these again!

Me and my friend have done the ring course today and had a fab time. I didn't expect it, but was thrilled with the result. The teacher was really nice (sorry forgot her name).We were lucky only 6 of us and finished within 90 minutes, I suspect longer if more people as the teacher goes around to quality check and help people. Very cold, but that is explained and they have heaters on. Wrap up warm and you will be fine.Lovely gift shop opposite with some pretty things.Only suggestion would be please do something like provide a certificate for the day and a ring box and gift bag would be nice, obviously for an additional cost. I really would have loved a ring box. We want to make a bangle next.
