A lovely toasted New Yorker with pastrami and gherkins. Plus a cinnamon bun and an Americano. Not cheap, but tasty. Fabulous cool views in the warm sunny weather.

A nice café, near the train station, at the entrance of the millennium gallery. The interior of the café is very nice, there is an emphasis on a flowery vibe with a cyan and pink colour code. The café has a window facade. There is a lot of seating available. The café is definitely not as busy as Tamper Sellers Wheel so no wait needed. The staff who was taking my order at the till seemed to be new and didn’t seem to know how to use the till properly because she asked her colleague for advice.I ordered the Eggs Royale which costed £10.50, not the cheapest Eggs Royale I must say but it tasted nice. The canton earl grey which costed £2.50, was a standard earl grey tea.Overall, a good location and not a bad experience. The price for the meal wasn’t great.

I ate at this cafe on 2 occasions and it's usually the same. The cafe is quiet with great seating and a view out to the street. It's on the first floor, so there aren't any stairs, etc and is easily accessible for wheelchair users. However, the staff are usually unwelcoming, with solemn faces and brusque demeanors. I brought a bacon sandwich and ate it there for my mid-morning breakfast last week. The bread had a perfume scent, which I noted after 2 bites so I stopped eating and drank my drink. After a few minutes, I had symptoms of Gastroenteritis. I would honestly never eat there again.

Bright, spacious, light and quiet. A bit cold because all the doors were open. Lovely coloured crockery. Probably a good spot for meetings and to work.

A bit cold atmosphere. Couldn't understand the interior design, it was almost sterile without any character. Had to wait for my little sandwich for a while despite the empty room. Staff was professional yet seemed unhappy. The sandwich was ok. Very hot though. With a little bit of change in decorum and added friendliness it could be a good café.

Really nice food, I had the spricy grilled cheese with jalapeños and an ice brew, both were great! Also shout out to the young woman on today (21st Sept), she was working on her own and gave excellent customer service throughout, a credit to the café.

I've been to Ambulo both here and at Western Park Museum. Both are decent, solid cafés - fine if you're at the museum anyway, but not worth a special trip. Solid 3*.However, we went to Ambulo at the Millennium Gallery recently and were incredibly disappointed by the kids' meal deal. Usually, it's £4.50 for a sandwich, bag of Seabrook crisps, 2-finger KitKat, Cawston Press juice, fruit, and yogurt - on the expensive side, but not by a lot. This time though, we only got the KitKat and crisps, and an inferior juice, and the activity box was absent. The sandwich alone is £2.50, so we were effectively charged 65p for each of these. The fact that each retail for 30-40p is somewhat immaterial - one expects a markup - but the fact that we were charged the same for less - losing out of the healthier components - is incredibly frustrating. The worst part is that the staff didn't seem to care, and just shrugged, confirmed that there's supposed to be more, but made no offer of an alternative. If you're in the museum, do yourself a favour and head up the escalator to the Winter Garden and eat in Zooby's. You'll get far better quality and value.

This is a great place to meet up with friends for a hot drink or to eat some outstanding food! Quite reasonably priced for the quality and quantity of the food - I would definitely recommend the pappardelle ragu! A very chilled out atmosphere, however the service was lacking slightly. Super happy Ambulo has found its way to Sheffield!

Great atmosphere - quiet and a lovely natural light, would be a great study space (there’s lots of plug sockets too). However, the food is slightly overpriced for what you get, but it’s still nice and tasty. The coffee was also good and well priced.
