Rawcliffe Manor Caravan Park

One of the nicest sites we have stayed on. When the advertise fully serviced they mean it. Elec, tv, water, waste water, elsan, a Bin and a picnic table all on the pitch. Then you get Free WIFI, showers are free, washing machine and detergent is free as is the dryer all this for the price less than some fields we have stayed in,Pitches are all paved and level with grassy area for awnings. (Although you will have to give up your picnic table).Less than a min walk to Lysander Arms where you can dine in our out, menus is good value as are drinks,5 min walk to park and ride into York, 5 min walk to Clifton Manor retail parks good local walks for dogs,We will be back

Ideal location 10 min walk to park and ride 5 min walk to Tesco's b&m. Toilet and shower block are immaculate with a high powered shower the pictures have plenty of space fully serviced . Extremely quiet considering you are next to the pub which sells absolutely gorgeous food and a wide variety of alcohol and spirits. Also in the middle of a housing estate please don't be put off by it because we would highly recommend this site and we will definitely come back again.

An ideal place to stay, it is convenient for shops eateries pubs and public transport to get into the city centre. The Lysander Arms is on site and is a very good establishment. It is just off the A19 so is easy to get too. It is clean and well managed with only a dozen pitches with hook up and laundry room.

Neat, clean little site with individual facilities on each pitch. The Lysander pub on the site serves excellent beer and food. We enjoyed Steak night which is on Wednesdays. We'll definitely visit the site in future.

Beautiful little site. Came with 1 motor home and 1 caravan and asked to be next to one another. This was no problem for themFully serviced with a lovely clean and warm toilet and shower.Pub on site was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them. Great food and atmosphereA real gem of a place. Thank you staff for a great stay

Not a bad site, hard standing level pitches and easy one hour walk into York. But for £30 a night I’m not sure I think it’s worth it. We’re a camper van and there is no washing up facilities and only one toilet and shower in the men’s and ladies but they were decent. But please can there be more than one hook in the shower!!

Cracking, quiet site on pitch 9, which has the only fully serviced pitches on a camp site we have been to. Toilets spotless and a lovely pub on site. Retail park nearby too. Right up there with my favourite sites. Path nearby for dog walks and a big field too.

Fully serviced pitches on hard standing behind a very nice pub. Close to York and lots of local emenities. One of the best we have stayed at. Definately be back. Need to book in advance as it is so popular. Great garden at side of pub also.

Here at the lysander for two nights fantastic site for our motorhome, steak night on Wednesday £45 for two and btl of wine, cooked to our liking and the service spot on thanks to all the staff. Merry Christmas to you all

Excellent site, Lysander Arms food and drinks really good. Used this site many times, ideal for going into York.
