The best GP in Wakefield . Every time when I go there, I get the support which I need. They have very good doctors and nurses and ladies, which answered the phone on secretary. They’re always very nice on the phone and they are very helpful .

Had an amazing appointment today with an lovely nurse practioneer Atkinson!Took the time to explain, an i left with new knowledge of my condition with the feeling of not being rushed, listened to and a positive plan to boot. This surgery is without doubt the best in the Wakefield area.

I have read through a number of reviews and can't quite believe some of the comments.I have been with this practice all my life and have never had an issue. The current staff are great and I almost enjoy going to the surgery!I know that I am looked after by one of the best GP practices in Wakefield.

I had ignored reviews in the hope they weren't true. But after my latest Dr appointment will be looking elsewhere. One of the drs was so passive aggressive, went round in circles, got facts about my condition wrong, which I knew more about given I have had a consultant walk through it with me in detail, which was appalling. When I corrected her she just ignored what I was saying. Took me 20 minutes of going round in circles to get a blood test. I thought I was going insane during the conversation because I was repeating myself and she clearly didn't believe what I was saying for whatever reason. Definitely will be looking elsewhere.

Fair warning, you end up unwell in their area of Wakefield, you are probably better off self medicating with a shotgun and some turpentine. They try and run everything via phone service but also set incredibly limited hours to actually answer said phone, and the person on the other end seems to hold actual malice toward whoever is trying to make her do her job.Fundamentally broken, avoid at all costs

Been with this surgery many years as it is a 2 minute walk but they are always a nightmare, receptionists always extremely rude and deliberately unhelpful. I am bipolar and have adhd + cptsd so obviously have severe anxiety issues and they always refuse to give an appointment without fully explaining issues to the awful receptionists always make you come in person to do simple things like request a medication you need periodically honestly so many more things to complain about its beyond a joke. At this point I often just literally ignore health issues rather than deal with these people.

Had to give 1 star because otherwise couldn't leave a comment. 1 of the worst Dr's surgery's I've ever had to deal with 62 tries of ring for an appointment. Requested a phone bk never recieved. Ring up next day to the be told you have to ring again to book another appointment. Whenever I put a repeat script in its never done on time always have to ring up yo have it chased. The place is an absolute joke. Will be moving Dr's as soon as possible

Seriously disappointed to have to wait half an hour to go see a GP who then told me I couldn’t discuss more than 1 ailment with her, that I needed to go through the hassle of booking another appointment and returning another day to discuss a second issue. Ridiculous! People who work full time cannot do this!

I was told my appointment is at a different time when I arrived at the surgery I had received 2 messages and In the message it was a different time. The lady that dealt with me seemed rude towards me. Feel disgusted leaving this place.
