Top service from these guys. Car booked in at short notice to repair a few deep scratches. Looks great and just an all round good experience (cleaned car, easy to contact etc).

Originally booked in for a tyre change via blackcircles. Also had an issue with a washer bottle motor that I mentioned to them as I dropped the car in, they were able to diagnose the issue and replace the motor within two hours, ontop of the tyre change. Super quick and friendly service, highly recommend

I'll start by saying that historically this isn't my usual garage.However, I took our family Zafira to this garage on Leeds Road 2 days ago due to a noise starting to come from the passenger rear end when braking and it needed sorting before we go on holiday on Saturday. My usual garage had no space. They managed to squeeze me in and fixed my car. They also kept my car overnight for me as I was at a funeral the following day and I couldn't get back in time to pick it up. Anyway, all was fixed for a reasonable price. I will likely change to this garage for future work as it is also relatively convenient for me to get to and they are accommodating. Thank you.p.s. Following up from the previous review, I can confirm that I received a proper receipt with a full breakdown. It came stapled to my card payment receipt.

Won a free MOT voucher from a Macmillan coffee morning. Pleased to say my car passed. Was easy to book in, arrived before my time slot which they accommodated. Very pleasant experience.

One of the staff members was simply rude and disrespectful towards me. Although I said that I had to take my car after it has been serviced due to the lack of time, he shouted at me and insisted that the car had to be washed, which gave me around 30 minutes of additional waiting. As it wasn't a job of any necessity, it could have been omitted upon my request. The service was very expensive, even though it did not include any part changing. There was no calculation to present individual costs of each job, therefore the final amount was not justified. Summarising- a very negative experience. I hope the service will prove its effectiveness in time. However, I do recommend finding a better way of talking with customers instead of shouting at them. Also, I wish I received a proper receipt to see what I paid for. Personally, I will not use this garage again. I am a female and I found the situation intimidating and very uncomfortable.

Great garage. Professional, quick and always reliable to get you out of a last minute car problem. This is not the nearest garage to us but we are happy to go out of our way for JW Morris.

Brilliant service, would recommend anyone to go there.Our mercedes B class had the turbo go on the car, which took out the engine.We had everything replaced and they also replaced the clutch and cleaned the dpf.The car was out of action for just over a week.Just need to go back for an oil change after 500 miles.Car is working wonderful now.Thank you for everything.

Took my car in March 23 for annual service & MOT. Full oil & pollen filter change. Asked them to check why coolant level kept dropping. Needed new water pump. Total cost £700 - parts, labour & VAT. Engine management light came on end of June. Coolant had been slowly dropping & I should have took it back before, but EML was nothing to do with that - something to do with efficiency of cat. Sorted it & replaced coolant housing above gearbox. Total cost for everything (P,L,VAT) £360. Engine management back on about a week later. Top header tank hose to water housing replaced & vacuum purge valve reset. £195 (P,L,VAT). Car (vauxhall astra gtc 2012) is running like a bird now so thank you guys (John, Steve & all the mechanics) who have all been extremely helpful, fit me in straight away even though they are normally really busy. Much appreciated & I would certainly recommend you. Don't take it badly, but hope I don't see you again until next March - car has cost me enough this year I think lol!

Impeccable service from JW Morris. I had my car serviced and needed replacement of a suspension castor arm. They were able to do the job at a great price (much less than the extortionate costs quoted to me by the dealership). I was also pleasantly surprised to see my car had been washed and vacuumed after the job was done. This was my second encounter with JW Morris and I am so impressed by their personable customer service and quality of work. It’s safe to say I will be coming here from now on!

I'm writing this review on behalf of my mum (Lettie Angelova) who is a long term customer of JW Morris. The garage has always been extremely friendly but when their amazing customer service and kindness really shone was in July 2023 when both her timing belt on her fairly new car broke and she had to have the full engine replaced. This was of course a huge inconvenience, not only because we had family from overseas staying and we relied on our car a lot but also because it was such an expensive job to fix. The AA rescued us from the side of the A64 and took the car straight to the garage. They took the time to fix my mum as quickly as possible as she also needed it for work the following week. They were very reassuring to a very distressed woman and had the car fixed in no time. When my mum went to pay, the card payment did not go through and she panicked she can't take her car away. The gentleman let her drive her car home and sort the payment when she got there the next day. Safe to say my mum was at the bank transferring the money the next morning and being extremely grateful. She has since been there to have the car oil changed following the new engine being put it. Thank you JW Morris you are the best!
