Rei Judo Academy

Joining Rei Judo as been a terrific experience for our son. The group's leader James is excellent: he teaches well, instilling the sport's values of respect and hard work but also letting the boys and girls have loads of fun. I would thoroughly recommend anyone to join!

James is a fantastic teacher and has created a friendly atmosphere that is both inclusive and fun!If you have ever thought about learning Judo I would highly recommend giving RJA a go.

Rei Judo Academy is a brilliant judo school. My child has developed physically, mentally under James guidance. The classes are fun, full of learning new skills and developing discipline, concentration, respect for themselves and others. Highly recommend.

We LOVE Rei Judo! My 6 year old has been attending James’ classes for almost a year now and has had the most brilliant experience! My son is never going to become a judo champion but he has gained such a huge amount from being a part of the academy. His confidence and ability to focus have improved such a lot and he is always so happy to go into his class! James is an incredible coach and I am frequently in awe of the way he manages the group - they kneel and listen to what he’s saying…all of them!! If you’re thinking to giving Rei Judo Academy a try - Do it!

Great Judo Club, James has excellent knowledge in taking your grappling to a higher level forvl either self defence or competition.

I joined Rei Judo’s senior class after watching my 10 year old flourish in confidence and ability in the junior class. Returning to judo as a white belt after nearly 35 years away from the sport is one of the most enjoyable and rewarding things I have done in a long time. My teenage son has since joined me in the senior class from another club and enjoys the opportunity of throwing his Dad around.Rei Judo is a family run business and very professional. James is a great teacher, giving the right balance of clear instruction and practice and is a fantastic role model, especially for the kids.I would recommend this club to anyone who wants to enjoy learning judo in an environment that is supportive to all its members.
