If your not giving stars because you don't like the yard I think you need to think what are riders after. A comfortable seat. Sussex Motorcycles gave me a comfortable seat so they get 5 stars. Post the seat in. Address is on the Link section of the website. Put a note inside with your phone number and address and wait for them to contact you.

Had my gsxr seat re made with memory foam & a new cover added. so impressed with it, didn’t even know I was sat on the bike it’s that comfortable now. Thanks to Chris, who offers a quick service done in an oldskool kind of way, rare to find these days. No more numb bum!! Fantastic, quirky little workspace too. Cheers & heartily recommended.

This would have been 5 stars but when you ride in first impressions are grim... The place looks like a salvage yard. Literally. BUT, and it's a big but, the re-upholstery work, using memory foam carved with a kitchen carving knife to great effect is the work of an artisan. Result, a reshaped WAY more comfy sadle. Recommended.

Went to Chris and Julie to get my seat done! Yes the place is a bit of a yard but I like that - good ol' fashioned hands on work. Julie re did my seat on my Triumph 800 low, re used the original seat cover and made my seat super comfy as well as taking into account that I could still put my feet down safely. Lovely people, great to chat to, super job!

Absolutely fantastic! I never normally write reviews but give credit where credit is due.I had a standard seat on a Yamaha and Sussex Motorcyles did a simply brilliant job at making it so much more comfortable whilst also raising the back on the seat so our son now sits a little higher and can see better. He says it’s like sitting on air now!A no frills HONEST and direct approach - just what I needed. They even had an incredibly ‘tricky’ customer before me who I have to say they were far more patient than I ever would have been…Thanks guys!

Found their website after finding cracks in my custom seat.Out for a ride on my triumph explorer today so thought I'd stop by to see what they could offer. My rider and pillion seats got recovered while i waited. Reused all the existing inner parts as already comfortable gel seats, Quality work from a craftsman. Highly recommended.

Went down today to have my VFR seat recovered, it was done while I waited and chatted. Could not be happier, brilliant friendly service and at a great price. This guy really knows his stuff and it was fascinating watching a true craftsman at work.

Having had the common fault on Suzuki Bandits, where the front of the seat cover by the tank splits on the hard plastic, I decided it was time to recover. After buying a new seat cover on ebay I removed the old and tried to fit the new but my staple gun was not up to the job.I found Chris on Google and he said he could attach for me. As others have mentioned, don't be put off by the workshops appearance. Its a working workshop. On arrival we chatted and I decided to have the old foam taken off and new memory foam fitted.Watching Chris at work with his electric carving knife he built up a new layer of foam and then attached my new seat cover, and built up foam on the hard plastic seat rim to prevent a future split. Not only does it now look like new it feels better to sit on and was worth the extra investment. Thanks Chris!
