Bainvalley Cottages

I returned for my second visit to Bainvalley Cottages and it was as good as the first! Me and my two dogs had a fantastic break. The Cottage had everything needed for a pleasant stay and Rebecca was very helpful and accommodating when I requested to stay on for an extra few nights. It’s the perfect place to stay for a peaceful and relaxing getaway!

We all loved our weekend break at your cottages. We've been having special family weekends away for around ten years now. Our sons, their wives and children and ourselves (Grandad and Grandma) all loved the accommodation, each with our own cottage but a large kitchen for us to have breakfast together. Enjoyed the tennis court, the space for footy, the BBQ and the ten of us being able to eat our meals outside in comfort. The day at Sandilands beach was great. The beach hut being right on the beach side made it so easy to take the windbreak and our cricket stumps etc. The kids really liked their 'little house' and we enjoyed our cups of tea!The family said it was the best place I had booked, over the years. We have never been to the same place twice but, for the first time, they wanted me to book your cottages again next year!

We had a wonderful stay at The Hayloft. It is beautifully furnished, comfortable and very well equipped. Rebecca and James cooked us a lovely three course dinner with canapes and set the table with a stunning floral centrepiece. It was just perfect. Thank you

We booked the Hayloft to surprise 2 friends and celebrate their birthdays. We were a group of 6, and had the best weekend. Each bedroom having an en suite is ideal, there’s a lovely outdoor area for drinks or food with 3 bi-fold doors. The table inside was huge and the kitchen was stocked with enough plates, glasses and cutlery for over 12-20 people! We were able to make use of the tennis courts, the BBQ and travel to the beach. Rebecca was lovely, warm and incredibly welcoming - but also gave us a lot privacy. Perfect stay in the countryside with friends. If all cottages were booked it might not be as private - but we were fortunate to be the only ones there. Highly recommended!

Fantastic accommodation and a beautiful location finished to an extremely high standard. We are a group of 18 (mixed ages) and took over all the cottages as well as the hayloft. We had a wonderful time: there was space to accommodate the whole group when dining or relaxing together, with really well-appointed cottages where we could escape to sleep or just relax. We were so delighted we immediately made a provisional booking for next year!

If you want somewhere quiet and secluded to unwind, look no further.A great place to stay near historic Lincoln, and the lovely market towns of Louth and Horncastle. The coast is not too far away, although sadly we didn’t get a chance to visit.The highlight of our stay was definitely the gorgeous view. Rural idyll springs to mind. Our two young children really loved the cows!The house itself is well equipped, comfortable, and quite recently and tastefully redone. We loved being able to sit outside in the evenings looking out over the sunset-lit fields.

What an AMAZING place to stay!Many of our group actually live in Lincolnshire - but it was the perfect spot to get together and spend some quality time with friends.The place gives such a calm & tranquil feel but also spot on for some games and music.The facilities were everything we needed for a perfect weekend away.We plan on doing it again we loved it so much!Thank you to our wonderful host Becca xox

What a fantastic place to stay! The Hayloft is a beautiful barn conversion with everything needed for an easy and comfortable stay. Having a ground floor en suite bedroom was ideal for the more elderly of the three couples staying, and the two upstairs rooms were perfect for the other two couples. The hosts were really friendly and helpful, with nothing being too much trouble. The cake and milk were very much appreciated! I can't think of anything that would have made this stay more perfect than it was - even the heavy rain didn't put us off! Thank you Rebecca and family for a memorable stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hayloft! We were a group of 6 and it suited us so well. The place was beautifully presented and felt like a luxury stay. It was so nice that each room had an ensuite and it was very comfortable. Great location and very peaceful.The dogs loved it too! I would definitely recommend staying here.

Our stay in North Cottage was a wonderful experience. John, Wendy and Rebecca (and not forgetting Indie!) were great hosts, very friendly and supportive without being obtrusive. The serenity of the surrounding farmland contributed greatly to the ambience, the village was charming and its people welcoming. The Wolds did not disappoint, beautiful scenery in early autumn garb. The cottage was spacious, well equipped and comfortable, becoming a treasured home during our stay. It was especially good that our pets were welcome. We hired the delightful beach hut for the day and enjoyed a walk along the prom. We very much hope to return to enjoy this part of Lincolnshire and Bainvalley Cottages in particular. Great memories of a special place.
