What a lovely site, every pitch taken and more. Great to hear lots of laughter and kids having fun. Even though it was noisy at first, 10pm ish... Everyone settled down. Site facilities are immaculate. If you want to look out onto open land, arrive early. We got the last pitch, and was not disappointed, sat and watched the sun set... just fabulous. Get village atmosphere, everyone we met was so friendly, had a pint in the pub, the owners made you feel very welcome. Will definitely be back.

Great campsite... We stayed for 11 nights in our tent with electric hookup. View is amazing... Facilities are great...walk suggestions, shower areas are clean... fridge with small freezer compartment, hairdryer, straighteners, toaster, kettle, m/wave and wee radio to make the washing up more fun!! Owners are superb! Easy going and flexible... Well maintained site! The location is great. There is only one pub in the village, good food, and no shop but Appleby is only 3 miles away... It's bang in the middle between dales, lakes and peninnes so super easy to see nice places within an hour drive.. We did high nick cup, a great walk... and a few local walks... Nice villages nearby too... esp Dufton and temple sowerby.

A beautifully kept site with immaculate facilities (even in this horrid weather we have had). The views are amazing and for those who like walking there are loads of routes to chose from. For those that like a 2 minute stroll the village pub is just round the corner with a great menu and dog friendly as well.Sam and Joanne have done a brilliant job creating this site and we will definitely be returning and recommending it to all fellow campersDave E and Sue K

Very nice camp site but never saw the owners or found the office open. Instead of ringing just put payment through letter box with a note.

We have returned to this site for the third consecutive year. We love it.The site is so peaceful and the views amazing. The village pub is lovely and the landlord very friendly and welcoming. There is a small play park just outside the site which my kids are still young enough to enjoy.Loads of walking and cycling close by, I recommend High Cup Nick for a walk and Great Dun Fell for cyclists. Both “must sees”. The site is a short drive from both the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales, very convenient location and the Eden valley itself is a beautiful place. The camping pod is very clean and has everything you need to enjoy a trip there. Just bring your beds to sleep in the back rooms. The site is immaculate and the toilet/shower/ washing facilities are very good and more than sufficient for the number of guests. We highly recommend and will be back!

Small kitchen area including microwave and sink for washing up. Small village with lovely houses including the Mason's Arms Pub (Dog friendly) selling a good selection of ales and beers as well as serving food (except Mondays) Easy reach of the Lake District.

An amazing campsite with excellent management. The pod we stayed in for £50 a night was well built, organised and immaculate. The finishing touches were thoughtful and comforting! The site is exceptionally ran with a shower block, toilets and cooking/ washing facilities. An impressive peaceful place with a beautiful view. Watch out I got sunburnt within 2 hrs. There is less pollution and the rays zap you!

What a fantastic campsite, peaceful with amazing views and lovely facilities. Both Jo and Sam are the most welcoming no-hassle and friendly owners I have had the pleasure to meet. The site is well maintained with fast wifi and a lovely camping POD. Prices are good, and there is a local pub within walking distance that servers local ales and great food.Lots of local walks for all abilities right on the doorstep. I will be going back.
