Found a disgusting hair in my soup. Never again. You should close down for sanitary issues! This is unacceptable and made me sick. I vomited the moment I found this in the soup! I then called this place to inform the manager about this but I was told the manager was unavailable. I told to the girl I spoke to that my food was contaminated with hair and that it was disgusting to which she replied ‚OK’. Not even ‚sorry’. I am so appalled wow. Unbelievable.

Nice wee cafe, with a decent choice of food, teas and coffees at a very fair price. I had eggs Benedict and a tea and both were spot on. Staff were very friendly and personable, like they meant it not just cause they had to be. Definitely going to be on my list when I'm in the area.

Really loved their food! Lives up to their name for a good price. It's so easy to miss as there are more flashy/big personality places on the same road, but once you go in it's more spacious than what you suspect. The toasts, rolls, and the breakfast porridge were delicious.

Amazing value for money. High quality food and very friendly staff. Sourdough Stack is an absolute winner and soup/sandwich options have loads of variety available and big portions too. Lots to love!

Every once in a while a place comes along with perfect results in all aspects of it. One such place is Brunch cafe in Thornwood. I've had both the VE smashed avocado & mushroom and the sriracha stack. Both outstanding. The roast tomato & red pepper soup with basil is an example of a deftly balanced soup with perfect acidity and sweetness of the tomatoes and red peppers. Often soups like these, thought to be easy to make, are imbalanced with a poor texture. Not here. Top marks for atmosphere and service. Highly recommended.

I met my mum here for coffee and ended up having soup and a toasted sandwich.I went for the chicken chorizo mozzarella toasted sourdough and the lentil soup.But when it arrived there was no mozzarella on it, the chicken was cold as if from the fridge but the chorizo was warm.I did say to the girl can I have the chicken chorizo instead of saying it with mozzarella I thought she would have known from the menu that it was the one with mozzarella. I thought it was a bit of a mouthful to say! The soup was really nice I'd have it again.The layout looked nice inside and out. No table service, so had to be ordered at the counter which meant having to squeeze by another table of customers by a pillar to order.It's on the main road so good for passing by traffic, not great parking round there tho I did manage to park right outside it.Not sure if I'll be back or not we'll see!

Stopped in today when passing. Friendly staff, good service. Nice decor.£2.70 /£3.40 for a roll with 1-2 fillings. Latte under £3. Higher priced fuller meals on the menu. Would visit again.
