As a parent, I'd recommend Crown House to any student who would like a comfortable living environment! Great location, just a short walking distance to the town centre! This is my daughter's second year & is very happy there. The staff are helpful & friendly...especially Mark, maintenance man, who's always willing to help with any problems & has a friendly attitude with everyone, always has time for a chat.. great guy! Nancy was also kind & helpful with some administrative issues we had. Overall a great place to live!

The ''Crown House'' accommodation in Reading is truly outstanding, thanks in large part to the dedicated efforts of Mrs. Nancy and Maria at the reception. Their warm smiles and unwavering hard work are instrumental in ensuring the utmost satisfaction of all guests.

I liked this accom so much that I actually decided to extend my stay for all 3 years of my studies. The location is perfect as it’s only about a 6 minute walk to the city centre and 10 min but to the university (the bus stop is right across the road which makes it so convenient). Rooms are really decent, my room’s a premium and it’s so big and comfortable. Staff is lovely especially our maintenance man Mark always looking out I will miss them when I’m gone <3

They have a unique ability to make guests feel at home and go above and beyond to ensure that their stay is comfortable and enjoyable.The location of the property is ideal, situated conveniently close to town and within walking distance to campus. The stroll to campus is quite enjoyable, especially for those who prefer to walk. Furthermore, the bus stop is located just next to the station, providing an easy commute to the university.The new common rooms and study areas are modern and stylish, offering a peaceful environment for students to relax and focus. I was thoroughly impressed with the facilities and staff, and I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone seeking a comfortable and convenient place to stay.

I've been living here since the last two years. This place is very close to the town centre (just 5–10 min walk), London Road Campus (5 min walk) and the Whiteknights campus (20 min walk). There is a bus stop just outside this property due to which it is very easy to go to most places in Reading. The studios are spacious and the accommodation is very well managed by a fantastic team. Mark, who looks after maintenance jobs, is very friendly and always ensures that all jobs are completed on the same day. The accommodation is secured with CCTV cameras at multiple locations and secured gates/doors as well as a secured bike shed and a car park. Given so many positive aspects, I'd happily recommend this place to students looking for an accommodation in Reading.

Most staff members are so nice and helpful. However, there are still some of them not willing to help and always give cold shoulders when need support. Maintenance team is very poor efficiency, have to ask the receptionist few times to make sure they come to the room and do the maintenance work.

Coming into Reading at the beginning of my student year, crown house was a good option to move into - its 2023, and now as the Student Warden, the accommodation is still so welcoming. It's location makes it easy to get to campus or the town centre, so that's always convenient. Now my siblings also stay here for the duration of their degrees so I'd highly recommend living here. The staff and technical team are quite friendly, although one of them is a Fulham supporter...
