Nothing like it used to be. The new housing estates have destroyed the feel of the country park. Since the new estate has been 6 red squirrel has disappeared, as has some of the deer.

First visit so don't think we saw the whole area, many trails to follow but enjoyed a nice quiet walk with dog listening to all the birdsong

A great place to walk and enjoy nature trails; there's a good circuit of Geocaches hidden there too.After dark it's a meeting place for gays and swingers, but very discrete.

I grew up round here and can remember the area when it was slag heaps etc, the transformation is incredible. Now a lovely tranquil area ideal for dog walks and wanders. Still to see a red squirrel but will keep trying!
