The hotel is of a very high standard as is the staff. The restaurant provides breakfast lunch and dinner and the food is prepared with the highest expertise and care. Another note is the atmosphere within the rooms which I think is very tasteful. The room service are a very hard working team keeping the accomodations in pristine condition.

Cracking location, and a great stay. Staff are attentive and very polite. I went for the no frills single room and although basic it was clean and had all you would need.Breakfast was delicious and even sneaked a couple of extra sausages when no one was looking.I sometimes stay in the Union Jack Club, and both have their merits.Highly recommended.

Can't wait to come back. The staff make everything appear effortless and that takes some skill in running a place like this. Strikes a very happy medium between casual and formal. Food is superb and I'd like to heap accolades on the chef. Special mention to the cheerful and welcoming team on reception: Daniel, LaToya and Jamie.

Supreme edifice-homage to British military history, superb Hyde Park adjacency for the full dosage of London feel and urban bustle. If so sponsored to get lodging by all means ask/plead for a room NOT in the corner-curvature section unless like our room (353) you want a girder between bed and bath. And unless you like sirens day and night. Staff top-notch. Great value relative to high-starred London hotels. Bonus - the in-person recollections from blessed military veterans are heartwarming/breaking and priceless.

This is the place to go if you want to be in Central London and stay for a few days at the most reasonable costs, in modern, smart, super clean accommodation. The Bar and Restaurant facilities are superb and a hearty breakfast is to die for. We stayed for 5 days over the Christmas period and invited friends to join us who stayed for 3 days. The VSC was our third visit in less than 12 months, and we love it there. Finally, our Christmas Day Dinner with professional singers performing was simply brilliant; the staff are all very pleasant and always there to help you have a great experience, whether it be the cleaners, room service, bar staff, waiting staff, etc so much so in fact, we have already decided to stay next Christmas!

Excellent acommodation in a great location.On remembrance weekend all the hardworking staff, from reception to the stewards to the cleaners were very helpful and pleasant.Super breakfast.

What an Amazing place to stay , it was the first time I have used the VSC it was for a function and overnight stay. Everything was perfect and to a very high standard and very comfortable. I am looking forward to another visit later in the year.

Nicely done with all the necessary comforts but lacks a little polish! We had a double room on the 6th floor - complex lift set up meant taking a lift to the 3rd floor then walking across the building to take a different lift to the 6th floor. Room was fine although the double bed was on the small size. Basic bathroom. For £179 it would have been nice if breakfast was included. OK but nothing special.

We really enjoyed our time here. Easy check in, welcome was sweet. The room was very clean, great size, comfy bed & Pillows, easy to use shower with toiletries and fluffy towels.The location is perfect for getting aboutHighly recommend this hotel

Although a private club, you can be a guest here and I was to visit as one. It's a lovely place in a great location with excellent prices. Everything was decent, from the service to the breakfast to the well stocked bar. Bedrooms were solid and excellent value considering the location.
