Had a really good look round, lots of locos, rolling stock in all gauges and quite good prices. Very helpful and friendly gentleman who gave me lots of advice so I would definitely go back

Just started my first N Gauge model railway so had lots of questions which Mike happily answered and gave helpful advice as well,amazing stock levels for such a modest sized shop, keenly priced and just a very pleasurable experience, highly recommended.

A great place to shop for the model railway enthusiast. Situated at Carnforth railway station (Brief encounter), you can shop and watch trains at the same time. Wonderful

Good selection of models and friendly staff. Plethora of new and used (like new and tested conditions) model rail accessories in G,O,OO, and N-scale. Model rail items ranged from 2GBP to 1000GBP for beginner and expert modellers.Shop only has access from the platform and is tiny making the space accessible to people with disabilities but those who use wheelchairs will not be allowed in due to the size of the store.I visited the store multiple times over a 3 day period and purchased many items. Stock was constantly rotated with new items in with every visit.

Great products. Really good to be able to chat to someone about the hobby and not feel daft for asking 20 questions. Even the Mrs enjoyed it. My new haunt :)

Been to this brilliant model train shop for the first time today whilst holidaying in the southern lakes, what a super find , brilliant service , the guy was most knowledgeable and extremely helpful , highly recommend this place
