This was such a good find.The staff were fabulous & so friendly they served up a Sunday carvery for us both & brought it outside to us. The food was absolutely delicious & plenty of it.We will definitely be back & have recommended it to friends.

We visited on Sunday with some friends and our children.The entrance and bar area are very nice and cosy, and the view of the actual windmill being preserved is making this place very authentic.I had a Sunday roast, and it was really nice. The cheesecake was okay, but the portion could be more generous.I agree on some reviews regarding the restaurant area ambience. As much as downstairs is welcoming, the upstairs is a bit cold. Some colourful and possibly a background music could do a trick:)

Our friends whom we regularly dine out with had heard a couple of decent reviews so we decided to give it a go, the place lacked any soft furnishings and had quite a lot of children so sounded like a school canteen at rush hour which you don't expect at 8:30-9:00pm, we ordered a bottle of pink prosecco & got the opposite I ordered a pint of soda water & got a half the waitresses fingernails were so long she could hardly hold the plates the cutlery was all incorrect & we had to tell her what we needed, I ordered the trout & it looked very much like salmon to me & tasted like salmon also, my wife ordered scampi & chips which came dripping in oil very unappetising" she couldn't eat it and sent it back our friends ordered chicken supreme and it came on the bone and the sauce was like chicken soup

This was a special 69+1 birthday party with 20 guests. We had pre ordered food and it was beautifully delivered with no hic cups. Everyone enjoyed their food. I had the lamb shank and it was delicious.There were three types of chips .The staff were very efficient and friendly .Highly recommended

What lovely food. The staff are very friendly and helpful and we were seen to very quickly. My only criticism would be that the seating area that we were in was a bit tight but other than that I would highly recommend a visit here. I also love the fact that this is a pet friendly place.

Everything was very nice. Sunday roast was all cooked well and service was friendly. The restaurant area was a little unatmospheric, could do with some background music on perhaps..

Our first visit, very surprised by the welcoming of staff. Restaurant tables & chairs clean & tidy. The meal was very reasonably priced & it tasted good too!Certainly a place I would recommend & we are looking forward to going back again soon!

The wheel is on show as you enter and looks absolutely brilliant. Really good layout with comfy sofas downstairs for those who just like to have a drink and socialise and restaurant upstairs. Unfortunately on the night we attended a couple of things on the menu were unavailable but I had the lamb main course which was beautiful. I did have the prawn starter however which was pretty tasteless and the salad was a bit overdressed and oily. The dessert I chose was apple crumble which again was great. The service was excellent and would recommend a visit.
