THE ANSTEY BARBER SHOP

Been here twice. Had one of the best haircuts I've ever had by Nick the first time, really nice guy and all that. Attention to detail was great, exactly what I asked for. Cheap including beard shape, gave him £20 which I feel was well worth.Unfortunately on this visit, had a new lad who seemed well out of his depth and comfort zone. I enquired how long he'd been barbering and if he had ambitions of having his own shop. His answer was surprising... Yeah it's easy money. £20 a time and as long as it's short

We came here about a month ago with our son, and he such a good experience with his hair cut. We felt like coming again. However this experience was completely different. I asked for his hair to be trimmed just as I did last time however they didn't listen and instead the hair was layered and cut and shaped when that's not what we wanted at all.I asked them not to use the clippers or hair dryer as he is scared and they did it anyway. Thankfully he didn't appear to be bothered this time round for the first time.The man offered to give my money back after doing his hair because of it, but I felt I couldn't accept because he still cut the hair and I was just so upset that I didn't want to discuss it any further and just wanted to leave. We are not happy with his hair cut and neither is he. He enjoys his long hair and it's all been cut off.

Took my toddler son in to get his hair cut the other day, I have had trouble previously but Lisa was really talented with him.Does a great cut too! Definitely will be going back!

I took my two year old son for haircut today and it’s safe to say he isn’t a fan of having his haircut. The female hairdresser was very understanding and managed to give him a great haircut despite his constant wiggling and screaming! This is a very family friendly barbers. Would recommend.

This barber shop is the only one where my 2 year old can cope having his hair done. The staff are very patient and friendly, the prices are very reasonable and would recommend them over and over. I know people who are not from Anstey using them instead of their local.

Great experience, you definitely have yourselves a regular customer now. It was my first time visiting today. I arrived at 9.30am which was a quiet time for the village I got served straight away to have my hair cut. The hairdresser did a perfect job! Great service and the price was exceptionally good value. Recommend highly!

My little boy who is 3 yrs old had his first haircut at a barbershop this morning. The young lady was lovely and made a real effort to make it fun and distract him. Thank you.
