Romanby Golf & Country Club

We were lucky enough to play the course as part of the Longest Week Challenge, playing all 12 Harrogate Union courses in 4 days. This was right up there with the best, beautifully manicured and in great condition. Tough but fair test, receptive greens but a tough challenge in the wind. Great welcome in the club house and tremendous setting to enjoy our drinks post round!!

We held our wedding reception here on 16th sept 2023 and it was the best day! What an amazing venue, Edd and the team went above and beyond to make sure everything went as planned. They have a range of contacts so can help with anything! We highly recommend this venue, everyone commented how lovely it was.

5 months into playing golf, and Romanby has by far the best course out of those that I've played. The greens are superb and the ball actually runs. There is a very easy flow to the course layout, and is simple to navigate.The range is great, and is the cheaper of the 2 I've visited locally. Pay by coin or in the clubhouse, and is open to 2030 on weekdays, which really works for me with work and children.

The Royal Engineers Golf Society played day 1 of our summer meet at Romanby in June 23 and i wanted to take a bit of time to say thanks and to write a review.From the outset the booking and communication has been exemplary. Edd organised the booking for us and kept in touch for what must have been well over a year and right up to the last minute accepted our changes to numbers as people dropped out at the last minute.On the day itself, from arrival we were made to feel like members of the club. Food (all 3 meals) were excellent, service was outstanding, Craig and his team were polite and courteous and the course was in stunning condition.We had golfers of all abilities travel from all over the UK and there was not one negative comment. All 28 golfers thoroughly enjoyed the day, made better by the great Yorkshire weather (who would have believed it lol).Thank you very much and we sincerely look forward to next year. We are already looking to rebook once we confirm some dates.

An absolute gem of a golf course, some holes are tough but it's worth it. The course is in perfect condition and the greens look amazing, some really scenic holes too. The staff in the pro shop and the bar/restaurant were really friendly and welcoming.

We had our wedding at Romanby Golf Club on the 13th of October, the venue is absolutely gorgeous and the staff are amazing, the day was perfect and went without a hitch, Edd and his team really helped us achieve our dream wedding. The good was to die for and the organisation by the team made our day run so smoothly, Thanks Edd and team for a percect day.

Christmas party night.We had a great night on Saturday, the live music was great followed by a disco. The food was lovely and we all had a fab time and rebooked for next year. Thank you to Edd & the team ☺️
