Purusha hairdressing

My experience at Purusha was fantastic. I booked myself in last minute for a rather drastic hairstyle change, having never been there before. On arriving, I was given really valuable guidance and advice and ended up not going through with my plan. The woman who consultated with me gave me a nice tidy-up instead, gave me some things to think about, and I walked away feeling a new-found appreciation for my hair as it is. (Much helped by the lovely job she did on it.) I'd unfortunately messed them around because I'd booked a lengthy treatment and ended up only having a cut, but they were so friendly and great. Many would have just done what I'd asked and let me deal with the consequences. I'll be going back.

WOW WOW WOW, I can't believe I have finally found a hairdresser who cut my short hair exactly as hoped for. Can't say how thrilled I am right now. Jill knows her trade and I would rate her highly. Honestly I have had so many disasters,, can't understand why, however SORTED NOW!!!

Jordan is a totally amazing hairdresser. He has done my hair since I was 14 and I would never go anywhere else. Great atmosphere and all other staff are very friendly.

Jordan is an amazing hair stylist who has done my hair today better than any stylist I have ever been to. The colour he chose for me is excellent and he spent a long time to make sure my hair is perfect, which it is! Most hairdressers don't take the time when you reach the age of 70 but Jordan did and I feel and look 10 years younger.,

Got my hair done by jordon and very impressed and happy girl, i luv my hair colour and cut. Hair colour spot on and didnt wash out after 1 wash like with previous salons apparently non wash out colour ( obviously was and charging a fortune for it ). Already booked in for another appointment before flying out for birthday weekend away.

I came to Purusha after having a bad experience with a hairdresser at the Shore in Leith; I had approached them to have a balayage done but unbeknown to me, they assigned a trainee to me & she completely ruined my hair. It was an awful experience! It taught me a lesson though in that appearances can be deceiving.I contacted Purusha and booked a consultation with Jordan. Due to the extent of the damage, I had to have quite a bit chopped off my hair however Jordan was able to salvage what was left and applied sections of colour to my hair in order to 'balance' the colours, whilst still being able to achieve a balayage effect, which is what I originally wanted. I have since went back to Jordan and will be returning again after the lockdown. My hair is so much better than it was before and although some of the damage caused by the previous salon still remains, Jordan has done an absolutely fantastic job in covering it and helping to make my hair look healthy again, overall.I would highly recommend Purusha, the staff are friendly and helpful, and very professional too. Down to earth and not in any way fake or superficial, Jordan and his team will look after you and do their upmost to ensure that your trip to their salon is a pleasant one.Thank you!

Amazing, second time having Brazilian blowdry, hair has never been better, lovely salon and stylist was so engaging. Highly recommend x
