Gavin is really helpful and there's good stock of green (newly cut), air dried and kiln dried uk hardwood. From joinery proects to lathe turning blanks to hardwood for the smoker bbq. Don't use the Google postcode, directions are on the website.

Always a good selection of British hardwoods available. Some may take a little longer to turn onto usable stock (planing etc) but this is reflected in the low prices. The odd diamond in the rough to be found too. I visit most months and rarely go away empty handed.

Fab for gifts in their small craft shop. An excellent range and very reasonable prices. If you are looking for timber there is a very good showroom of wainy edge boards and finished timbers.

Good selection of timber for the general public and trade. Gav helped me pick out sycamore for my kitchen worktop and cut it in half so it would fit in my car.
