On May 19th I attended Traumawith a finger that had been infected after some fibreglass had gone in .the infection had tracked to my elbow!I was x rayed within half an hour.A brilliant trauma nurse Helen treated me brilliantly..I have much to thank her for..I was in and out in one half hours. BRILLIANT!

Absolutely insane. Came in with my husband having excruciating abdominal internal pain. 6 hours later he is getting much worse with his legs getting numb and we are yet to be seen by a doctor. I appreciate the shortage of staff and nurses trying their best but this is simply unacceptable and horrific!!!!!! I’m shaken and shocked by what is occurring.

Horrible service with uncomfortable sitting arrangement. If a patient needs to wait 5 hours in emergency (still counting), she doesn’t need medical help actually. I am frustrated with this so-called Emergency Department""

Genuinely cannot thank the staff in A&E enough.I took my 25 yr old son in at 3am Sunday morning. The unit as always was very busy. He had all the signs of appendicitis. Triaged within 15 minutes. Was prioritised as a category 2 patient. Guidelines suggest a 2 hour wait maximum. Boom 2 hours and seen by a dr. Confirmed as appendicitis. Seen by surgeon at 7am. CT scan and move to same day emergency care ward at 8am.During this time they had an emergency in the waiting room after a patients friend collapsed, dealt with amazingly.Had to listen to the staff try and placate a very riled up patient. Who was insisting on treatment they didn’t need. Stayed professional the entire time. Even though they were screamed at and remained busy all night. Thank you!My son had surgery later that evening, was very well cared for and was discharged the next day. I genuinely am so appreciative of the care he received. You were all amazing and your hard work did not go unrecognised by everyone.

Exceptional service. I had to take my daughter for wheezing, she received top class care. Only one parent is allowed incase of children. There is plenty or parking available opposite A&E and parking is free for 4 hours. If required this can be extended for another 4 hours.Once again thank you NHS, thank you UHW pediatrics AE team

The A&E service made me wait 10 hours only to recommend me to the gynaecology department where I have been waiting for 2 hours although, there's no other patient here. It's 4am and instead of getting better this place has made my health worse by making me sit for so long!

Extremely friendly service. Friendly volunteer helped me find my way to the emergency unit, registration and triage was within the next 15 minutes. After a quick lunch break I was seen by a doctor. Very detailed examination (~20 mins) and a resolution to my problem. There are even mobile phone charging bays for the patients in the waiting area. 5 star service!

I waited almost 6 hours for examination but they directly sent me to X-Ray . Waited next 5 hours for the report. Waiting time is too long even in emergency, not done .
