The service that David and Jo at Gemport Jewellery provided me was perfect. They made the difficult and difficult task of choosing the right engagement ring extremely calming. They were extremely flexible and helpful working around my budget and I always felt like I was in expert company. It never felt like they were just there for the business and they took all the time needed to explain the processes (sometimes more than once) about anything I didn’t understand. They made the experience feel personal and the end product was everything I could have wished for. My partner is extremely happy with the gorgeous ring they handmade and I will definitely be coming back for my wedding rings.

I lost my Mother over the Christmas period. The last keep sake that she gave me was a pair of silver cuff links. Years ago, I accidentally broke the clasp on one of cuff links and was desperate to get them repaired, so that I could wear them for my Mothers funeral.The first and only company that I considered for the repair was GemPort Jewellery . The reasons for this are,: The cuff links are priceless to me and cannot be replaced, The repair is not straight forward and is in a very delicate place and with my experience with GemPort, they always deliver a quality job, on time and within a realistic budget. We went to Gemport after meeting them at a Wedding Fayre at Moor Hall and I am so glad that we did. The service that we received from David and Jo was absolutely top class. Everything was looked after and they even helped with a little surprise for my now wife! Nothing was too much trouble and the whole service was perfect, along with the rings! Where do I begin? Perhaps with my guilt, because we got married in June 2022 and now approaching our first married Christmas I realised I hadn't put on this review!! Sorry Gemport!!!!Dave & Jo were recommended to us by our best friends who got married back in 2016. Straight away we were made to feel so welcome by Dave and Jo; plenty of knowledge, experience and advice set us at ease and both have a wonderful way about them - two lovely people with a real passion for what they do.My wife had a ring with five diamonds that she wanted Gemport to use to make a new bespoke ring just for us - and wow they didn't disappoint. We went from a five stone yellow gold ring to a white gold with yellow flash on the shank with 10 round brilliant diamonds channel set across 50% of the band at 1.50ct. How they found the stones to match I have no idea but it is absolutely stunning.I've never really wore jewellery but wanted to wear a wedding ring so had a bespoke comfort court at 6mm width with dual channelling - very comfortable and I'm now at the point where I don't really feel it.On top of this I wanted a watch for my best man to give to him on the day - David went out of his way to get a beautiful piece and took care of the engraving. My best man was blown away.Our wedding went perfectly, and we had an amazing day which was also down to the contribution of Dave and Jo to ensuring everything was how we wanted; they went above and beyond our expectations and we can't thank them enough.We never met their craftsmen but a big shout out to them too!! The build quality, hallmarking, and detail is top class and this in my view underpins Gemport's deservedly outstanding reputation.Dave and Jo will forever be our go to now for anything like this in future.Thank you!! A truly amazing experience. A private workshop which included a five hour session with food provided. David and Joanne were excellent hosts and offered a fantastic activity. This was a gorgeous surprise which has allowed us to physically make our own wedding rings, from the resizing and buffing to the polishing at the end. Thank you.

Great customer experience dealing with the service of my Breitling watch. Dave at Gemport kept me completely updated at every step and his knowledge and ability to explain the process was great. I visited Gemport Jewellery after a recommendation from a work colleague as I was looking to purchase some jewellery as a birthday gift and to have an old ring modernised. What can I say other than that the service I received was truly outstanding? Right from the initial meeting with Dave and Jo, I felt completely at ease and made to feel special as a customer. Their expertise, attention to detail and friendly nature shone through, culminating in me finding exactly what I was looking for and also having a 50 year old ring re-designed and made to look brand new!!!! A stellar experience from start to finish! GemPort made our wedding rings, and we couldn't have asked for a more personal service; from the initial appointment through to the final collection, every detail was thought of and we felt thoroughly looked after.One ring was created from an existing wedding band (whilst preserving the hallmark and the ring's history) and Jo suggested creating earrings with the off-cut gold - something we'd never have thought of ourselves. I now have a beautiful pair of bespoke earrings and a lovely story!

A huge thank you to GemPort Jewellery. We have had many items of jewellery over the years and have loved every piece. This time however couldn't be more special or beautifully done. We asked GemPort if they could turn my late mothers engagement ring into three independent pendants for her grandaughters . We were not disappointed.
