I attended the Geopace Introduction to Phlebotomy" course in Birmingham and highly recommend this to anyone wishing to get into the profession. The two day course I attended provides you with all the knowledge and confidence needed to start looking for work as a Trainee Phlebotomist. The tutor was amazing and made learning fun

I have recently completed an 'Introduction to Phlebotomy' course in Birmingham and it was brilliant. After attending a recruitment day with the NHS i didnt realise how valuable this will be in aiding me to gain a position as a trainee Phlebotomist. The introduction into phlebotomy course is really good. If you're doing biomedical science, nursing or medicine I'd reccomend this. The tutors are really friendly, welcome and open to any questions.I complete the 2-day in person course. There is both theory and practical aspects. The practical has fake rubber arm where you have to find a vein then use a needle to draw fake blood into the tubes. I had no prior experience in phlebotomy so it felt a bit strange on my first attempt. The tutors are there to guide you as you practice on the fake arm, since there is a lot to remember and it can be overwhelming but after few attempts you be able to do it easily.At the end of the course there's a talk about job opportunities related to the course, which definitely helps if you're job seeking. Additionally, there is a follow up course where you draw blood from your classmates but I'm yet to do this.I've recommended to a bunch of friends and family who work in healthcare. The courses are available at many different locations so you'll probably be able to find one near you.

I completed the vaccination course through Geopace and they were fantastic. From the start it was clear what I had to do and it was easy to achieve that with the help that they gave me. After taking the Introduction to Phlebotomy course, I found it interesting and informative.The tutor was accommodating, as the theory was split into modules with multiple choice Q&A's it made it more relaxed to work through. Learning the practical elements was brilliant, the synthetic arms were fantastic.

The course has been very informative and very well structured and not felt bored at wall ... the tutor kept the class going with his positive attitude and energy... definitely recommend

I really enjoyed my 2 day course for introduction into phlebotomy. I come away feeling like I had learnt so much and was given so much information on the course. It was very interesting and the tutor made the course an enjoyable experience. I would definitely do another course with Geopace and would recommend them to anyone.

I completed an Introduction to Phlebotomy Course with Geopace Training and it was absolutely brilliant. The tutor was fantastic and supported me and the rest of the class throughout the whole process, they were very informative and it was clear that they were very knowledgeable on the topic. The course is accredited by the Open College Network and CPD so I felt that it was a legitimate and well recognised course. I am looking forward to completing more courses with Geopace in the future and will recommend to all of my family and friends.
