Just to warn people that the the resident nearby has decided to lock this car park. The council have said what he has done is illegal, but he has done it nevertheless thinking that he decides when (or if) it can be used. Previously it was open in the summer until seven in the evening, before the complete closure it was changed by him to five. Many people have complained but it has fallen on deaf ears. If you do want to complain contact [email protected].

So this car park used to close at 7pm in the summer and now it closes at 5pm. I got lost on a walk yesterday and so my car was locked in the car park. Whilst trying to plan how to be rescued my dog threw up in my car. Now I need to pay to have it valeted so thanks a bunch.When did the time change?

my favorite place to stat a walk,.all links to Ditchling beacon, Stanmer park/Falmer, Waterhall, Pycombe.Beware: the car park shuts at 17:00 in winter and 19:00 in summer.This time of the year , cross the Ditchling road and watch the most beautiful sunsets across west of Brighton and the downs.

Good for Stanmer Park walks but the car park is rather pot holed so take care. A popular spot for dog walkers - most clean up but a few rogues don't bother or leave dog bags on the ground so take care.
