We can't say enough about how perfect our stay was! We stayed here with friends for my partners 30th birthday and had an incredible time. Tanya and Francois are the most thoughtful, lovely, and kind hosts we've experienced. From start to finish they went the extra mile; decorating the kitchen, providing cookies/milk/bread/bottle of fizz, Tanya helped us unload our many bags into the house and Francois gave a detailed tour of the property and how to use all of the amenities.We used the BBQ, tipi, and hot tubs which really added to the weekend - and we had the much appreciated surprise of wonderfully decorated areas at night with colourful lights which gave it a festival feel.They checked in on us at intervals giving us the space we needed but also reassuring support. Above all, the property is gorgeous, well designed/decorated and well taken care of. We've already recommended the property to our friends and will certainly be coming back ourselves!

Magical! We held our wedding reception here and the service,decor,food, accomodation and setting were all fabulous. Tanya and Francois bent over backwards to make our day one we and our guests will never forget! Cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Unfortunately, we didn't have time to enjoy the wood-fired hot tub, but we were treated to pizzas from the outdoor wood-fired oven, which would give Franco Manca a good run for its money!One that point, the hosts of the Tan House deserve special recognition. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was unforgettable, providing excellent communication and offering valuable insights into the local attractions and activities. Their dedication to making guests feel welcome and comfortable truly sets this property apart.The location of the Tan House is also a major plus. With easy access to several charming villages and nearby attractions, there's no shortage of things to do and see. An amazing and quirky place to stay - Tanya and Francois are wonderful hosts -nothing is too much trouble. There is so much to do locally and Tan House is a great base to explore from - the accommodation is some of the best we have tried - luxurious and comfortable with lots of fun touches as well as exceptional attention to detail.

Tan House is a 5 star destination for anyone seeking quality accommodation in this beautiful part of Gloucestershire.Great care has been taken in the decor and furnishings of the rooms and a luxurious atmosphere has been created with taste and unique features. Step outside and nature is on your door step. As evening falls owls hoot and pheasants call to each other. The grounds have wild areas and an old orchard, also a formal garden with fountains and topiary avenue. It’s so picturesque. It’s great for a family reunion and we loved the very well equipped kitchen with large dining room for the all important meals together. All the rooms are both beautiful and comfortable with lots of bathrooms and showers. I m planning my next visit already.

Tanya and her family were incredibly welcoming and accommodating for our family get-together at Tan House. The setting is absolutely gorgeous, a peaceful rural idyll with thoughtful and fun details at every turn. You can enjoy the peaceful garden and fabulous views by day, then listen to Tawny Owls while you stargaze, before turning in to a beautifully appointed bedroom with luxurious linens. We were thoroughly spoilt with use of the wood fired pizza oven, managed expertly by Francois, as well as the amazing hot tub. And the lunch that Tanya prepared for us and our guests in the beautiful tee-pee courtyard was delicious. We simply couldn't have enjoyed our time here more. Thank you for a truly wonderful weekend!

We had a treat staying at Tan House. The place is an elegant English historic house and grounds, the kind you may find in period drama. The interiors are luxurious, with attention to detail; a traditional setting, with an exotic twist brought by the flare of the owners. The grounds are surrounded by trees and rich in wildlife and it was relaxing to wake up to the view of the meadow and sound of bird song with a cup of English breakfast tea. And we saw an owl when walking around the grounds.

Fabulous accommodation, fantastic hostsJune 2023We had a family gathering to celebrate my Dad’s birthday at Tan House and it couldn’t have been a more perfect weekend.Tanya and Francois are the perfect hosts and went out of their way to ensure we had a memorable weekend.The accommodation is beautifully decorated with large sofas to chill out on and a big dining room table which easily seated all 10 of us for breakfast.We enjoyed a birthday lunch in the tepee, which has a magical mix of zebras, palms and chandeliers.Fairy lights surround the hot tub and pizza oven area and we spent a wonderful evening sat under the stars, the adults chatting with a glass of wine, whilst the kids enjoyed the hot tub.I can highly recommend this beautiful property and these fantastic hosts
