Cambridge Performance Tyres - Team Protyre

I would not recommend this garage. Poor customer service. I booked tyres fitting through Asda tyres and for fitting this garage was showing availability for today, so i booked.They called me few hours before the appointment and told me that they are too busy and cannot do this.I changed appointment for another day as it was showing their availability for that day. But again they called me and said no we cannot do. I asked them to cancel the appointment from the their end if they do not have availability but no they want me to cancel it.My question is why would you show availability through booking system and then call customers and ask them to cancel the appointments.

Really good experience here, got the tracking done on my BMW - drives so much better now. Speedy and efficient service, even included tyre and brakes health check. Not charged for any unnecessary services, overall very happy with the service.

I strongly discourage anyone from using this service, as my experience with them was frustrating. They initially lure you in with a low quote but conveniently inflate your bill by identifying expensive problems" to fix.Here's my experience:Initially

Extremely DISAPPOINTED ….took my VW to Cambridge Performance Tyres to have new tyres fitted along with black weights and tracking done. My alloys are expensive Vossen wheels so Cambridge performance tyres were recommended as they are supposed to take care with expensive wheels so I’m told…Upon leaving the garage I was heartbroken to see whoever changed my weights/tyres has taken a screwdriver to get the old weights off and every wheel is horrendously scratched! Given these are black wheels and the scratches and scrapes are so deep the only option I’m left with is to have the wheels ALL repainted.Manager made no attempt in wanting to fix the problem, so obviously customer satisfaction isn’t their priority.Very disappointing to say the least, avoid if you can!Will NOT recommend!!!!

Would recommend avoiding this garage. Poor customer service and poor communication. Went for a service and MOT, requested service first as can potentially identify issues before same issues highlighted in MOT (which might actually not be issues), but of course can get a second opinion - not an option with an MOT failure. Feel like none issues were identified and was quite forceful in making me agree to the works without proper explanation and options. One expensive service and MOT unfortunately. Will not be returning with my business.

Came in for air con re gas as it had stopped working. I was told it re gassed successfully but compressor was not working. Took to another garage and asked for compressor replacement, luckily he spent time to check before changing because there was nothing wrong with the old one. The system had 0 gas once refilled everything worked as should so I feel like I was ripped off

Came in for four new tyres to be fitted to my pristine refurbished rare Oz Aristo alloy wheels and the fitter damaged both front wheels gouging them down to the bare alloy metal in a couple of places. Manager tried to suggest I had damaged them myself despite the damage being to the part of the wheel rim that only a tyre fitting machine could reach! He eventually accepted they had damaged them and offered to reimburse me for the damaged alloys to be refurbished again, at my inconvenience. These guys are not the careful professionals they make out to be! Avoid if you like your nice shiny alloys staying in nice shiny condition.

I had a wheels alignment on my car. Car has been given back with no results of the tracking by someone eating chips while talking to me like as I was disturbing him. I Asked for the paper document with the results (in the past I went in the same garage and I always had it) and I have been looked as I was asking something strange. I have been told in a rude manner that it was perhaps in the car (not of course) I then come back and asked to receive it at least by email… of course nothing came. Complete lack of customer care.

Extremely helpful with tyre pressure monitor fitted incorrectly by another well know garage. Refitted and working well. Very knowledgeable and skilled team. Some tyres a bit pricey but most comparable or cheaper than many. Cheap MoTs. Fully equipped for EV hybrids too. Negative reviews put me off but didn’t experience any upselling or anything unnecessary. My son is going for an MoT there in a few days so may add more to this review!

Ridiculous garage - went in for an aircon refill. Terrible job. My AC is worse than it was before the refill, and they are refusing to check the issue. Biggest mistake going to them. One other friend have had a very similar experience.
