Had a wonderful trip out from St Ives. Friendly, helpful skipper who clearly explained everything. Dolphins came up close to the boat and we stopped to watch them. The seals on the island were amazing to see, both in and out of the water. Full marks Black Pearl!!!

We did this activity on the 21st July after being rescheduled. We were looking forward to seeing the seals. I'm surprised we wasn't given life jackets as the sea was a little choppy. We paid £20 each. The skipper who was driving the boat didnt say much. we enjoyed the ride and it was great seeing the seals. Next time we visit St Ives I'm sure we will do another boat ride with another company.

Loved seeing the seals up close, such a brilliant way to spend an hour out on the water and good value. Great tour and also really helped that we could bring our dog along (we were camping so wouldn't have been able to go otherwise). Thank you!

Booked a boat trip that was cancelled due to bad weather (which I do not have a problem with) 2 weeks later and still no refund. Poor text communication. Have raised a claim through my bank to retrieve payment.

I booked a trip for 2 people with them in May. The trip was cancelled due to bad weather. We were offered a different date but we couldn't make it as it was the end of our trip. I requested a refund that has yet to arrive despite my emails and texts. Planning on taking further action if I do not hear from them soon enough.

Update: it has now been 10 working days but still no sign of the refund. Communication very bad as no answer to emails or text messages.I had a boat trip cancelled a week ago and still no refund, despite emailing, calling and texting. Very good at taking money but not good at returning when they don’t run a trip

Highly recommended. Fantastic boat with a great and skilled crew. Felt safe and in very good hands. The crew are very friendly and knowledgeable of the area and the waters and wildlife around St Ives. Very accommodating to everyone on board, ample space on board to move around, not cramped. Decent size boat allows everyone to see the area clearly. Great communication on the day of our trip. We recommended speaking to the crew on board as they have a lot of knowledge and happy to answer questions. Make sure you book with these guys, they’ll look after you. Good value £25 for an exciting 1hr15min trip. A+++

Update: Company got in touch and arranged the refund quickly after seeing this. Told me they had had problems with their booking system doing refunds. Also offered vouchers for a future trip in apology. Still haven't taken a trip so can't comment on that. Updated from 1 to 3 stars after the refund/voucher.Original review: Booked online. Next day received a text cancelling trip due to weather. I requested refund, but no refund given and messages stopped being replied to.

Our skipper, Dylan, was great ! Told us a lot about the seals. Got lots of wonderful photos and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Would highly recommend.The skippers mate was also very helpful with our small human and pushchair on and off the boats.
