One of the best Indian restaurants in Southampton. It locates at Shirley high street. Food was tasty and staff was very friendly. Great experience.

This is MY Indian restaurant of choice in Southampton! We ordered three different starters-chicken tikka, king prawns, lamb tikka. Every single one was absolutely delicious and on point. For the mains we ordered two different curries; one was a prawn in korma sauce and the other one was a chicken tawa.Perfectly spiced and balanced in their flavors. Also order garlic naan and Pudina (mint) paratha. You will not be disappointed.The service was fantastic and so was the atmosphere. I will definitely be back

I always get my Tiger Prawn Madras from here, and we are frequent customers at the restaurant. My take away was pretty grim, watery sauce, greasy and no flavour ☹ I ordered 2 so I could have the other after work tomorrow, but not so keen now. Sorry

Overall, the service was good, but the food was disappointing. The biryani didn't have salt and didn't taste like authentic chicken biryani. Additionally, one of the waiters was intrusive and asked personal questions, which discouraged us and will other customers from returning.

Just realized that it's Brit's famous place to eat because we were the only Indians dinning on Friday evening in the restaurant. Food was tasty , we tried Panner pakoda , tandoori mix , jumbo naan (my fav), Panner stuffed parota , bhindi masala and all were good. Quantity is also good enough and the price is comparatively less than other Indian restaurants.

I was expecting a restaurant more in touch which it's Punjabi side but apart from the decorations inside, I did not find it to be anything special. The mango lassi did not taste good nor did the pindi chole. The food which is supposed to be punjabi did not taste it and was forced to be finished. The waitress who served us was lazy and had am attitude. She made us do her job by moving the plates to where they belong om the table and she would often just leave stuff wherever she found space. When she came to take our order, she starting leaning against the wall.

They decorated the restaurant so beautiful, I think they are one of the best Indian restaurant I tried in Southampton. The food was so delicious and fresh. The rice cooked properly. They had a good customer service as well . We will back again

I Ordered Onion Bhajis for starters.Tastless...VERY OILY on the outside - obviously as it was fried BUT also very Oily inside. Squeezed it on 2 paper napkins. Ate half of one and felt sick. TOO greasy for me. Did not order anything else. Halfway to the hotel I was sick.MY husband ordered Darl. He did not like it...no taste to it he said.This was just our experience...but go and give it a visit. Everyone deserves a second chance...but it just put me off a second visit.

I've never been disappointed with the takeaway. It is always tasty.Confused by the bad experiences people report having by wait staff. I can't comment on how authentic" it is
