Blue Lagoon - Abereiddi
Lovely and quiet. Arrived 5:30pm day before Good Friday. Plenty of parking and was free at this time. Beautiful dramatic coastline. Road are very narrow so please drive carefully on the way in. Appropriate footwear essential for walks up to the top of the cliff.

The Blue Lagoon is accessible on foot from Abereiddi carpark or by the sea. Weather permitting, and around high tide, it's a short paddle from the shore over to the entrance (just out of view from the beach). At lower tide levels there wouldn't be any access by sea as the rocks are exposed. We arrived just before high tide, leaving us with plenty of time to explore after we set off by canoe. The Lagoon really does have a strong blue tint from the surrounding slate remaining from the old mine. Lovely and sheltered from the wind and swell once you're inside. There's plenty of parking spaces at a reasonable charge. Just take care as you drive along as it's surfaced by loose beach pebbles.A lovely afternoon spent here with a short paddle and finished off with a relax on the beach.

Beautiful place for a stroll with amazing views over the Blue Lagoon, Abereiddi bay and beach. Part of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path.

Beautiful place to visit the water is a very vibrant colour and a safe place to swim and enjoy jumping off the high walls it's a 5 to 10 minute drive to Porthgain, which is another beautiful location. The famous She'd restaurant in here on the harbour serving beautiful food including fish and chips.

It is home to the now famous Blue Lagoon, where the Red Bull Diving" championships have been held. The Blue Lagoon was created when the wall of an old slate mine was blasted to let the sea in. It is also popular for "coasteering" where people dive into the sea

Tight roads to get to and it's a small car park that you have to pay to use. They do have public toilets but bring your own loo roll. The views and walks are stunning.

Gone here loads of times now and absolutely love it. Beautiful place and really fun and safe to have fun diving. You do have to pay for parking, think it was a fiver. There's usually a food truck there and toilets there too although I would advice going before you get there.

Great place, we've been back twice. the first time we arrived it was already dark, but it was still very beautiful, we rented a hotel nearby and returned in the morning for the second time. Great national fund if you want to swim or walk along the coast, parking for cars near the beach, snack van, there were also guys who offered diving services which included a walk along the coast and something else, but we did not ask since it was very cold and we did not dare. The lagoon itself is an old quarry, the water was very blue and beautiful, when we admired the lagoon, we climbed higher up the mountain, from where even more gorgeous views opened up. Therefore, I strongly advise you to visit this place, such beauty is never forgotten and you want to return there again.

I'm sure most people come here just for the Blue Lagoon, but that would be a real mistake. The lagoon is nice and all (maybe a touch crowded the day we visited) but the real star is the walk across the cliffs from this car park. Beautiful views and a really nice walk

We had such a lovely morning! We walked the coast path from Porthgain (about 40 mins) and then walked down to the lagoon for a snack and a very chilly swim (felt like a spa treatment!)Stunning view from the top, a little scramble down the hill to get to the main path and then fun to watch all the coasteering groups too. Highly recommend.
