Cartmel Fields Camping

There are many positives to camping at Cartmel.lovely.main reception tent people lovely particularly blonde supervisor (sorry no name)Great on site facilities except day after race day no one cleaning showers or toilets which were filthy.Main complaint is the staff who camp on site up till hours clearly extremely drunk young men and some women.There tents were unfortunately near myself and my daughter.Sleep impossible the 4 nights there but last race day night was horrendous.spoke to them but they just didn’t care.Spoke to Jason security at 3.00 then 4.00am.He was lovely and dealt with them but I won’t be returning here.Shame a few drunk idiots spoilt the great customer service we got from the day team.

As a pop up campsite for the British Grand Prix this ticked all the boxes.Showers and toilets were well maintained apart from Monday morning.The security was good, with friendly and helpful staff.Not too rowdy after dark and kept pretty clean and tidy throughout.Bar and food available throughout and a little cheaper than in the circuit itself.I'd go again.

Amazing facilities! Nice food stands and easy access to the track over the bridge.Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend this to everyone who is visiting Silverstone

Great little campsite. A bit steep in places. Pretty good toilets and showers. A few had problems, but there was regular maintenance. Didn't try the food stalls but they looked popular.Short walk to nearest gates.Friendly and helpful staff.
