Kings Caple Primary Academy

Well this little school with a massive heart can be found in the heart of Kings Caple. Being slightly bias by the fact it was my childhood primary school i placed my 3 children hear rather than my local school at much birch. My eldest completed sats last year with outstading scores along with the rest of the year i might add which stood him in great stead for secondary school. The school doesnt let 3 year olds in! Fact is after having age stage testing on my girls they were found to be fully able to join the reception class early (by the council and the acadamy) where they met the targets of other children the same age! They are now in class 2 and 3 and lovely grounded children! Like all children in a small school each and every need for the child is met in small classes which have a teacher and a t.a.Having a new head has put somebody at the head of the school stearing it in the right direction. She has joined us with some fantastic ideas and keeping it the fabulous country school that it has always been. If not better!With the additional support from the acadamy status we have the use of a P.E teacher, spanish teacher and a wide range of resourse that a little school may not have the access to.I thank the team for all they have done for my eldest and my 2 girls that are still with u!

Kings Caple Primary Academy is a fantastic school. The previous and current head teachers and staff have always been supportive to each and every one of the childrens needs.The school is run a friendly manner in which the head is always available to deal with any problems a child may be facing academically or socially. Any signs of bullying is dealt with in a positive constructive manner with parents and pupils being engaged through the process.The teaching methods are varied to cater for all types of learning styles. The curriculum gives the children a well rounded education both socially and academically. With smaller class sizes teaching staff have the time and opportunity to work with each and every child to ensure they are meeting their potential.We would strongly recommend this school to all parents considering their childs future and would certainly dismiss any negative comments.

Kings Caple Primary Academy School is a warm and friendly small school in rural Herefordshire. My second daughter has just started and we couldn’t be happier with the school, our eldest is in year 3 and is thriving. Hopefully numbers will maintain with siblings and new families coming to the school. This term the school has benefited from children moving from other local primary schools. The staff are very approachable and keen to share and discuss your child’s progress and development, nothing is too much trouble. The curriculum is taught through a vast variety of mediums including out door learning and forest schools. So far a well rounded education for my daughters. If you have any doubts about sending your child to this school, come and see for yourself....it’s amazing!

If they keep the new head teacher then will rate higher. . Now a 5star school with a fantastic new head teacher. . She has done an amazing job since January
